davidm
Our first gig. Should be fun, although I've no idea why we're playing with much heavier bands than us.
davewarden
We should have a 2/3 track cdr (old songs) on sale just to wet your whistles for our release next year.

Taylor_dB
I think me and a few other guys are coming along after our band practice to catch what little of the show we can. That half hour better be the best goddamned half hour of the night!

davidm
This was good fun! The sound was terrible for us during the first half of the set, me and the guitarist on the other side of the stage couldn't hear each other at all. on the positive side I only saw 3 guys leaving during the set so we can't have been that bad. Chris
me and the guitarist on the other side of the stage couldn't hear each other at allDid you ask whoever was doing the sound for more of each other through the monitors in fornt of you? davidm
Yes, Simon, the singer repeatedly asked for more guitar through the monitors, although I obviously have no idea what we sounded like off-stage. To be fair, nerves didn't help either as well as Simon breaking a string on his own guitar and then breaking two on the spare!

I was just wondering, as I've seen a few bands playing their first gigs complain about the sound on stage but they've not bothered to tell the sound engineer what they need through the monitors.
