Was really looking forward to it but found it to be enjoyable enough but nowhere near as good as I'd imagined. Gore was well done and some gruesome enough scenes granted but less of a story than I'd expected and not really much to make me go back to it in a huge hurry methinks.Mayhaps it was a lot better in the cinema? Disappointed in the whole hype before it. "the sickest film ever made". after that turned out to be a bit of a let down. Guest Tam o' Shantie Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 poor gore, a little bit of it was quite unsettling but as with all hollywood blood fests the effect is totally ruined by a meaningless story. compare anything in that movie to the ending of Audition (which genuinely makes me feel quite ill) and there's nothing close to it. awful cameo by takeshi miike (the guy can't speak a word of english so his single line is ridiculously spoken). the only saving grace was tit upon glorious tit near the start.
