careering
"WE'RE GOING TO WIN EURO 08!"Scotland are great at winning friendlies, when something is at stake like qualifying for tournaments or getting past the 1st stages when they have qualified, their record is at best woeful. All this result & performance proves is that they have a wee bit of depth to their pool. However they must be kicking themselves for not qualifying for this World Cup, as they would probably give most teams a good game.

french_disko
did i mention the article? No, but the headline, taken in context, stirs up a whole other hornets nest. Let's be honest - none of us give a flying fuck about the Kirin Cup. However, we all want to see Scotland win at football - however meaningless. Scootray
It may not be a massive cup, but the fact that we've managed a good result for a change is something to look upon. If we win it, no-one in international football will give a shit, but at least it's a step in the right direction to getting our international football status and ranking back on track.
