Lemonade
I'm trying to put a couple of mpg videos onto my Ipod but it's not working. Can you only transfer certain types of video?
Sue Denim..
It's notoriously hard to do. I even downloaded software that is supposted to convert any type of file to work exclusively with the ipod video. It converted it alright (as I can see the mpeg4 file), and I even got it onto itunes but as soon as I plug the ipod into the PC it updates everything except the damned video. (A little message pops up at the end. )I just gave up in the end because it wasn't porn therefore not worth the effort.
Lemonade
I'm downloading the latest Itunes update which promises to be able to convert most filetypes into suitable format. All this because I want to watch Saved By The Bell on the bus. By the tme I finish fucking about I'll be sober enough to drive!
Lemonade
Well I downloaded Itunes 6.0.4 and it's converting the files into Ipod format, but Jesus you wouldnt want to be in a hurry. No Saved by the bell on the bus for me.

Lemonade
Well it took an hour to convert the file, then when I tried to play it it doesn't have sound any more, the cunty bastard, and Saved By The Bell isnae particularly funny without sound. The original file has sound.

Teabags
I simply stare at the files until they convert themselves and hide from me in my iPod. Simplest way possible.
jemmur
videora is indeed the way forward.the video feature on my ipod is fairly redundant though. if i watch an episode of anything while i'm on my way to work, the battery end ups so knackered that I can't listen to much music before it dies completely. Lemonade
Is videora available free anywhere?
jemmur
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPodgoogle to goal! in less than a minute.if i remember correctly, it takes forever and a day to convert anything. and doesn't always work. the fact that my computer was a piece of junk might have contributed to that though. Lemonade
Sorry to be a pain guys... the first video I converted with Videora stil wont play as it's still the wrong format - when I'm converting it and it asks which Quality Profile to use, what should I select? Only some of my MOV files will convert. (The same ones will convert on Videora and Nero so there must be something about the old MOV files I'm trying to convert.) Lemonade
I'm possibly being pretty dense, but I'm getting nowhere. I convert the files into MPEG4 format as it says I should. I check the file output address and find the folder it outputs the file to. I go to that folder and it's empty. What am I doing wrong?
