delboy Posted April 4, 2006 Report Share Posted April 4, 2006 it depends, you can ask to hold the price when you place the bet (e.g. if the horse is 6/1 at the time you make your bet then you can get that price). but prices change all the time right up until the race starts so its a bit of a gamble within a gamble!!!
