Alkaline
come on down and witness one of the biggest gigs to happen to aberdeen in agesQuite possibly one of the least qualified statements i've ever read, but it will be a great gig nonetheless.I'm not going though, can't be arsed. LIGHTNING BOLT are a very big deal, maybe not in alkalines half shut ears and eyes but to many millions of people around the worldim excited [/quote']Hey, i didn't say i don't like them. But in terms of it being 'big' there are several more high profile gigs happening in Aberdeen this year. While this one is a big gig in terms of the 'underground' sense of things, its small fry compared to others. Lighting Bolt hardly compete with Babyshambles and We Are Scientists on ticket sales and number of cd's/vinyl shifted now do they. And Lightning Bolts sales figures don't indicate that they have 'millions of fans worldwide' unfortunatley. Mind you certain folks who would be attending this show probably wouldn't like them on principle if they did Glad you're putting it on, pity you're an arrogant childish cunt at the moment

I have a suspicion that they will go for the area when you enter the Tunnels. That would be the most ridiculous choice of spot possible. If that is the spot there will be lots of irate punters who could see nothing at all.

I think nowadays they have their equipment set up prior to them playing so that the punters know exactly where to go if they are wanting to physically see them play.I merely said I had a suspicion that they would play there. I think the most likely place they are going to play will be on the dancefloor, which will give folk the opportunity to see them if they are above the stairs/sitting beside the barriers.
