bifta23
Just played this for the first time in yonks - how bloody good is it!? What's everyone's fav Godflesh albums?
Guest Page 99
Street Clear is an amazing album, I remember playing it extremly loud the first time I ever bought it, ah the looks on their faces I'd probibly say Street Cleaner or Songs Of Love and Hate are my favourites, because I prefer their old sound. bifta23
Pure is classic too and I really like the Messiah EP.Those Slavestate remixes never fails to disappoint either. In fact, I think I like everything..!
medichi
Songs Of Love And Hate was where I came in, and still what I love best. JB seems to be pretty down on the latter day stuff in interviews now mind....

french_disko
"Cold World" EP with Robert Hampson (Loop / Main) on it is awesome.
get lost
Now I feel old, oh my Earache days, probably Streetcleaner is my fave, think the track that stands out to me is Locust Furnace. Have been listen to a lot of Fudge Tunnel recently, they were a "rockier" Godflesh.
bifta23
Yeah loved Fudge Tunnel too. Did you catch them at the Pelican?

psydoll
I think I'm siding with 'Songs Of Love & Hate' on this one but I'll have to dig out ze albums when I finally sort out my room. Moved into new flat, stuck everything under bed/in corners, can't find ANYTHING.
Guest Jake Wifebeater
I was also at the Fudgetunnel Pelican gig.On topic, I'd say the "Tiny Tears" 12". "Deadhead" is my favourite Godflesh song.
Guest Mr Blastcap
all this earache high water point nostalgia prompted me to dig out O.L.D's classic melodic rock album lo flux tube, BETTER than the Beatles and the last Oasis record. i liked the guitar sound Fudge Tunnel had, and the t-shirts: the music was a bit dull after a while though. Bonesaw Bazz
Lo flux tube is an amazing album. i liked the punker selftitled first album though. Especially the track that featured on the Grindcrusher releases with the spanish guitar in it. Canna mind the name now but it was magic.Fudge Tunnel were ace at The Pelican. i remember there support Head Cleaner being pretty good live too but there CD is pish. Mordred
Who is O.L.D and Lo Flux Tube? I thought I knew a fair bit about earache.....O.L.D. are Old Lady Drivers and Lo Flux Tube was there second album on Earache.I got a promo of the whole album on cassette after me and my mate put in a joint order.I think i ordered Carcass's Necroticism album and they sent the album plus a promo cassette of the exact same album - pointless
