I am looking for a site where people have shared their amp and pedal settings for numbers/covers in their set eg we do the Pretenders 'Brass in Pocket' (and 24 others) - easy enough to get something sounding like but, being a bit of a nerd, it would be great to see how others with experience of covering it (or maybe someone with an inside track on the original) set up their rhythm or lead guitars/amps/pedals for particular numbers. I know if you're a U2 fan you can find pretty much the settings they use, but what about other/standard numbers? Does such a site exist? Has it been done on here?

I can vouch for Diesel and the female singer as I have played with them and I believe they have a couple of Petty numbers on their setlist. I would be very happy to join up too (you did say 'guitarists') - I am rhythm and backing vocals. Already playing in a couple of bands but want to do more...let us know.

It is actually very light/mint metallic and people often comment on the colour (positively) - I love it, specially with the blond fingerboard - better stop now: gettin excited ..

Might need to part with my beautiful mint green Mex strat with blond maple fingerboard - if I go for the USA strat I have my eye on. If you're interested, please message me and I can send some foties.

We are a 5 piece band that do covers ranging from rock to modern. We have a varied set list - anything people listen or dance to. We are all good players and have a strong, female lead singer. However, our singer often has to work off-shore so we all agreed that another/additional lead singer (....preferrably female) would allow us to double up and/or to cover gigs at all times. We are an easy going bunch but are also committed to playing good music. So if you fancy the chance to ease yourself into a 'good to go' band, contact me. Aiming to do pubs and functions on a regular basis asap.

No..you are right to point that out. When you add the postage you are looking at just over £150 from them - I think with the weak Euro some of their prices look pretty keen jsut now. New ones from UK on ebay are £190 incl postage. I'll need to go lower to sell it.

£150 - it should have been up on Gumtree by now with a link form here but got waylaid last night. I'll be in Musical Vision rehearsing on Thursday night if that helps...

It is good - you got ta fiddle around with the knobs to get different sounds - good for rehersals/practice etc. A simple valve amp - helped me understand how they work.

I think you should be on the Trading Post forum - I did see here or maybe Gumtree a local band lookin for a player to do Oasis sets. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
