  4. Have the following up for sale: Barber tone pump - lovely sounding twin overdrive pedal. hand wired from USA. Great condition £85 Boss DS-1 with monte allums mod. Sounds great, perfect condition, less fizzy than the normal ds1. £35 Shoer Shimverb - lovelly little reverb pedal. Great condition comes with box £37 Dan electro cool cat chorus pedal - I hate chorus, but this one is actually quite good! true bypass and has a mix level has box.- £22 Joyo - us dream. Basically a clone of the Suhr riot pedal. Perfect condition and sounds great with box - £25 I live in stonehaven and work in altens so should be able to meet up with people if they want to look at any of these.
  5. how cheap? I have a barber tone pump dual drive which sounds great, but would be wanting £80 for it really.
  6. its this one ere.. http://forum.musicradar.com/showthread.php?121019-Fs-Prs-ce24-1993
  7. trade for a prs ce24. nice and light and got great bucker and single coil sound..
  8. this guy is good as well. have bought a couple of sets of pickups from him before and he's very good. http://www.catswhiskerpickups.co.uk/tele.html
  9. depends on your budget but you can get some very good pickups for not huge bucks tbh. personally I hated the BK mothers milks but thats just horses for courses. preferred the BK slow hands by a mile. Entwistle - have a couple of sets on ebay. had a cheapo set from them and they were very decent tbh axesrus - had the texas blues and they were excellent. have a look on their website they've got a few sets which might do what you're after. toneriders - had the blues classics or whatever they're called and they were decent. They also do a vintage set which might be good for what you're asking/ Kent armstrong tweed tones - they were excellent! been round the bootique side as well - lindy fralins, Bare knuckle , rio grande, wizard, catswhisker, bulldog, seymour duncan, dimarzio etc etc and the main advantage is that those guys will wind to exactly the sound that you want, but you pay a premium for that, and imo they're not worth the extra dough.
  10. massive pricedrop down to £700. these guitars absolutely rock!
  11. Zoom h1 then old bean should do it. as with any type of room recorder - as long as you have your amps/drums/pa speakers pointing the same way and stick it at the back of the room it'll give you a decent recording to hear back arrangements etc.
  12. Having a bit of a clearout, with some very tasty fx up for grabs:. 1. Barber Tone Pump. Dual overdrive pedal. Very rare, wide range of tones you can get here, also has internal trim pots as well. Handmade boutique like pedal, and like all barber pedals sounds amazing. £80 2. Tubecube 80 watt attenuator. Had this for a few years now and never actually use it so may as well move it onto someone who will! will work for up to 80watt amps, with a very useful ohm selector (4,8,12, or 16). mint condition. its like this one http://www.gbase.com/gear/tube-cube-basic-80-silver £65 3. Digitech X series reverb: Bought this new but as I'm now using an amp with reverb really don't need it. Very nice shimmery reverb, with flexible settings. Also it has a speaker emulation output so in effect can go straight into the pa desk if need be. £45 4. Boss Ds1 Monte allums mod, Got this on ebay a couple of months ago. Nice sounding DS1 and imo the monte allums has taken away some of the waspiy nastyness you sometimes associate with thsee pedals. Immaculate condition: £35 5.Dan Electro cool cat chorus - I hate chorus pedals with a passion but actually this is quite good, not too overpowering and the level control means that you can actually mix in the amount of syrupy chorus ming...I bought this from new. £23 6. Korg AX3G. Very nice korg fx unit, and has amp simulations so can be used quite nice into straight into the PA. Not sure I still have the original psu but a working one will be provided. £20 Tonepump Attenuator Digitech X Series Reverb trade wise not looking for much: maybe a nice distortion pedal, or a tap tempo delay of some sort. Not interested in any clones unfortunately.
  13. zoom H1 is half decent and not pricey.
  14. bump.. any takers or I'll think about rather sadly sticking it on ebay?
  15. bump for an top class guitar available for mexican class money..
  16. Got a rather nice mint condition strat partscaster for sale - had this professionally put together by a luthier in Glastonbury (recently moved from there). He added the no 7 logo on the neck. Has 3. Graphtech nut (bought new) 4. Fender USA tuner pegs 5. Pickups are Kent armstrong Humbucker, 2 axesrus texas blues specials. pots/switch are either CTS or from USA Strat 6. Bridge is wilkinson VS50 mk2. - (Bought new). Cost wise this was around the £350+ mark all in. some photies here: http://s915.beta.photobucket.com/user/thomasw88/library/PRS/No%207%20Partscaster will do for £225 for forumites, condition is excellent. I work in altens, live in Stonehaven, rehearse in Blackburn.
