  1. And that the people who got there first were the 48ers. That was a fascinating article.
  2. on the flip side to what idol_wild said, I graduated 3 years ago and got straight into a job to do with my degree. And I am still disillusioned.
  3. You may have missed the graduate training boat. As all the graduates will have just started with the companies. Could try OilCareers.com/.co.uk Failing that phone up the HR department of some oil companies and just enquire about graduate training.
  4. By assuming that the doctors would know which knee to look at? However, my brother-in-law had a mountain bike accident mangling his arm, and he had to go in for an emergency operation, yet the A&E doctor marked on his arm (broken in 3 places - while the other one was fine) a giant X in permanent marker - just so the surgeon would be sure which one to operate on. I think we give doctors too much credit for their knowlege!
  5. I wonder which event you are talking about...Don't replace my copy of Energy with your P&J drivvel about that event. Pet Hate - Events for people who are in the "in crowd" its just like school all over again. Also, TREND magazine. Its the biggest load of tosh, its just the same 5 girls all fawning over their mates shop/show/dress sense.
  6. I used to work with a guy who had a sign that would say "Do not Disturb". He was a total bellend, maybe the two are linked. Or maybe he just put up signs because he was a bellend. He now doesn't work in the oil industry - he owns a coffee shop in town, which is probably littered with stupid signs.
  7. umm, I had been to both. So in your books am I allowed to critique it? Or do I have to have been to both places within the past week, to allow me to give up to date news on the restaurant? I merely voiced my opinion of the first time I went, and that time was enough to put me off from going back. Compared to the first time at CJ's where I raved about it to everyone.
  8. And making their maki in moulds? Or have they started hand rolling it?
  9. Thats not a cop out - they are making the california roll
  10. Scotrail. I know we had some snow a few days ago, but does that mean that no trains can pass Inverurie? Also, thank you for cancelling my 7:14 train to Dyce, and telling me that the 7:50 train would be leaving ten minutes later. Only for it leave on time, forcing me to run like a tit through the station.
  11. I didn't want to be that brutal but you are right. We were sitting at the counter, when she opened the tin of tuna. I wanted to make sarcastic comments to my wife, but unfortunatly the girl making it was two feet from us.
  12. Thats oryza sushi. I went there for a lunch when it just opened, and when I ordered tuna rolls - they opened a tin of weightwatchers tuna in oil, and just spooned a bit out into a mould. But on the plus side it encourages more people to go to Chef Jang!
  13. I am on O2, and the Denburn is my local exchange. Before Christmas BT upgraded the exchange to allow up to 20 Meg services. They did this to all the towns along the main Edinburgh - Aberdeen route. But this was just the backbone being upgraded, nothing to do with the main carriers (O2, Sky, Virgin) Then I looked into when O2 would be installing their equipment into the exchange, allowing us punters to get up to 20 Meg services (using a technology called Local Loop Unbundling, LLU). As far I was aware it was just upgraded for the BT and O2 service, so if you are on another carrier then you might not necessarily get the up to 20 Meg services.
  14. And to think I pay the council 80 for the privilege of it. But not any more, managed to find secure parking on King Street.
  15. Cuntrags on King Street. Spiking one of my tires. And this is the second time this has happened, the first time it was two tires. Also having my wingmirror smashed off too.
