  1. For sale is my almost new Westfield VBS4 I bought this guitar new around November 2008 after some dodgers broke into my old flat and borrow my Stingray. It is mint condition with no damage and has been kept in a case for about 2 months now. Could do with a new set of strings as its not been played in a while. For its price i can honestly say i haven't played anything better, its a lovely change to the Squire or basic Yamaha and is absolutely gorgeous! It is essentially a replica Warwick and has fantastic user reviews scattered about on the internet. It is unvarnished and has an ash body with beautiful woodgrain. ...pick yourself up a bargain whilst i need to clear some space! 110 Thanks, Robert
  2. Boss DS-1 Distortion - 25 Boss 0D-3 Overdrive -30 Both hardly used and the OD-3 comes with box and receipt. Please get in touch by txt as i don't have broadband in my new flat yet... 07856412426 Thanks, Robert
  3. For sale is my white Mongoose Menace BMX. It is a couple years old, but has hardly been cycled since i moved to edinburgh, and my folks want it gone... As far as i can remeber the only thing wrong with it is a flat tyre and a little bit of rust. All it needs is a new inner tube and a bit of WD40. cost 140 new, so 50? May consider any random swaps. (forgot to mention the bike will need picked up from milltimber as i cant drop it off) Thanks, Robert:up:
  4. That wouldn't happen to be a young ginger haired lad with glasses? Went missing about 2 years ago maybe? I remember he had a reputation for being unable to handle his drink very well... i may know of his whereabouts if its the same chap.
  5. For sale is my lovely VBS4 bass, hardly played since new and sounds chunky as hell! I am in aberdeen most weekends, so bring it up north wouldnt be an issue. Westfield Vbs4 Bass edinburgh Edinburgh musical instruments amps for sale Thanks!
  6. Space kitchens? ...you would have to be pretty desperate though!
  7. The keyboard should have a specific part number on it somewhere (prob a sticker under it when removed) just give it a google and it should pop-up in an online/ebay shop. If you can't find a sticker with a number on it either check in the manual that came with your lappy or give sony a call with the laptops model number asking what the keyboards part no. is. Good luck!
  8. It sounds to me like something has been spilt on your keyboard. This would definately explain the key-mashing you have experienced. Either remove it, find the part number and ebay one or try cleaning it out with distilled water. (have a google for some guides, but it is just a case of submerging it for a while) Make sure it is left to dry in a warm room for several days before trying to fit it back into the laptop. This has worked for me to remove dried orange juice from my own eee keyboard and wine from a friends NEC keyboard. I also advise you not to buy a new keyboard through the sony centre as it will cost something rediculous and i wouldnt be surprised if they insist on fitting it! Either buy a replica or used one. Hope you get typing again soon!
  9. Here are the photos of that artist work, shame i can't remember his name!
  10. but how can you resist?! it sounds really harsh, but i am beyond feeling sorry for this man. I remember years ago when he used to stand outside the cowdry hall every day with his big sign and flag. I was too young to understand him at the time. ...and struggle to understand him now How long has this been going on for? anyone know?
  11. When i work out how to post up photos i will put up a couple of his paintings to let you have a gander
  12. this man is still going?! o_O i don't want to comment on his rant as i feel he isn't worth the effort. get a job Peter. ffs. this has gone on for too long.
  13. i ended up in Norway a couple summers ago with work and have to admit it was a fantastic place to visit. We took a local youth group to Hokkshund region and it was just beautiful, you should definately try and spend some time in the countryside if possible. Doind anything will cost you a fortune, and im pretty sure it must cost even more by now! Be prepaired for 2 bottles of coke and 3/4 cups of coffee. If you smoke its maybe an idea to take a few packs with you to last your stay. The one thing i would urge you to visit is a creepy art gallery in Vestfossen about 30 mins from Oslo. The art is inspired by black metal and there really is some messed up stuff on display. My favourite artist was a chap who painted with a severed hand he had donated to him. Can't remember the chaps name! Anyway, i hope you have a fantastic trip to Norway!
  14. havent posted here since joining, but this is a conversation which caught my eye. i was an early-adopter of the original asus eeepc 701. a lot of people gave me grief about its size but they soon changed their mind after realising just how handy the little machine is. admitedly, spec-wise it wasnt amazing, but by overclocking it i could quite happily play battlefield 1942 and run sony vegas. i was so impressed by this wee machine that i ordered the asus eeepc 901 when it was announced. This one has a 9inch screen and 1.6ghz processor. This laptop has not struggled with any software i have tried on it and is capable of playing a surprising number of slightly older games. The processor is also capable of hitting 1.9ghz, plus with the price of solid state drives dropping this year it is pretty upgradeable! 4 of my friends now own an eee after pissing about with mine. We all do have desktops at home, but you just cant beat an eee 901 for being a comfortable size, cheap, easy to use and bullet-proof. ...buy an eee 901. appologies for my rant, but i am sick of folk assuming that these will only be capable of reading e-mails and browsing the internet.
  15. These ones seem good enough. i use them at least once a week with the multimedia group at work and they seem to get the job done. Robert
  16. i picked our one up a couple months ago, but they seem to restock them pretty regularly. I got mine up in Musselburgh, but im sure the Aldi in Aberdeen will have them. Hope that helps, Robert
  17. would you consider a swap for your t-bird? i had one a few years ago and ended up selling it. Got to admit that i do miss having it about. i would be willing to offer up a gloss black bronze series bc rich warlock in trade or part ex. not to everyones taste, but it served me damn well and does look pretty badass i also have a westfield vbs4a bass which i would consider swapping, but i wil need to mull it over. Anyway, if i hadnt just pished payday on bills and computer bits i would offer up the cash, but now cant afford it til the end of the month again. gah. Thanks, Robert
  18. i got a medion graphics tablet for using at a youth group i work with. picked it up from Aldi for 24. surprisingly responsive and robust. I guess its not as funcy as professional bit of kit, but does what it says on the box. Robert
  19. i have tried to pick it up again now and again, but i think its something that will always be a part of my youth that might be rekindled someday, just not at this point in my life. ...plus i have lots of bills to pay thanks to getting screwed by a landlord. i would def consider a swap for bass gear, but it would definately require part cash im afraid. I think the last thing my front room needs is another guitar... but... Robert
  20. I'm looking to sell my Vincent Bach Stradivarious trumpet. This lump of brass has seen me through some fantastic times during my teenage years, but unfortunately due to work and other commitments she doesn't get played any more. It is in almost new condition with only a few scuffs in the laquer and was serviced regularly up until a year ago. It was bought in 1999 and is still in original hard gigbag, a stoned lined straight mute, instrument stand and leather palm guard. I'm looking for 500ono which i feel is a very reasonable price considering its condition and price new.
