Dunno if the guys have told you Richard but there's been a gig arranged for Monday 16th November at the Tunnels, info is in this thread : http://www.aberdeen-music.com/forums/gigs-event-announcements/58414-marionettes-ccj-live-16th-november.html This is Daryl by the way
  2. Live at the Tunnels Monday November 16th: Marionettes on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads High pace indie rock with edgy riffs and pounding drums. Highly influenced by anything from Iggy Pop to Aphex Twin, an exciting live show that has been cited as stimulating and with bucketloads of energy. The second half of 2009 has seen the return of Marionettes with no less than two new members, a fresh sound and a new direction. Watch this space for new recordings on top of a release in the new year. "...it is very fast, very loud and very promising.." Culturedeluxe 2009 CCJ on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads CCJ are a band from Edinburgh whose music has passion and lyrical complexity in abundance. Having relocated to Aberdeen last year, this is one of their first shows in the North-East. Their new 7 track CD "Dirty Town" is a fantastic collection of songs written by all three members and is worth every penny of the 5 it costs to get a copy. Supports TBC Doors 8pm, 3
  3. I've forgotten my login, and my team is awful.......
  4. Blue, unopened and still in it's original case, an unwanted competition prize as I already have an Ipod. 110, 16gb is A LOT of tunes! This isn't the new one with a camera on it I don't think, not that I see the point in having a camera on your Ipod....
  5. This game is awsome, I'd play you if I had Xbox live in my flat
  6. I'd also like to highlight that this is tomorrow.....magic!!!!
  7. Only got a couple of tickets left, we're selling them for 2 so if you do intend to come down just ask! (either that or pay a fiver on the door....)
  8. Why do you hate a band because of their attitude and upbringing? They sound awsome, if you disliked them on musical terms that would be a viable excuse. Bloc Party are another band of the well-educated/middle-upper class variety and they're also awsome. ie. I fucking hate Pete Docherty but I quite like the Libs, his solo stuff is a tad suspect though but a few charming songs from time to time.
  9. Absolutely buzzing for this, hopefully there'll be a decent turnout, Paddy's Dry Girl project really is something to behold
  10. From behind the bar, a lot of complaints that's all I'm saying.....
  11. I now have tickets for this, Swimming are awsome PM on here if interested Ta Daryl
  12. Just started listening to Biggie's "Ready to Die" again after a two or three absence from my playlist. What a great album!! And rap being limericks?? Jesus.......
  13. I'm there, pumped for this one been meaning to check out Trapped in Kansas for a while
  14. My mate does this sort of thing, even if the playlist is pre-compiled the tracks are all (most of the time) created entirely by the performer.....so it's not really for slacking. After all it's dj-ing, it's gonna get a ribbing on here no matter how it is performed!
  15. I ignored this for like 2 weeks and my team has gone well and truly down the shitter, extreme re-build needed!!
  16. Hi everyone, Doing a multimedia type course at Uni and really want a Macbook to help me in doing so, besides I need a computer change as my laptop is on its last legs. Anybody have one or know where I can get one for a reasonable price? As they're not the cheapest things in the world that's for sure. Cheers Daryl
  17. It closely rivals the time Preston walked off, both episodes were hilarious Also, Toxic Distortion will surely be creaming at the chance of supporting this lot!
