Is it normal that it doesn't work properly in the evenings? It's always really unreliable for me. Has anyone experienced an evening / night drop-off?
This has problem been mentioned countless times as I haven't read the replies but enable protocol encryption and then will get round it.

Ah right. And he's asking about this on a public forum?
Just do what I do man, water, rubber pipe, milk carton and scissors=amazing bong. If thats what yer looking for.
As far as I'm aware, head shops don't sell anything illegal so why not ? As for that, I stick to my pipe these days .
Anyway, answer has been obtained via pm to which I am very grateful .

Anyone know when tickets are on sale?
-
Bit of a random question I know. If so where? There's one at sorts at the market is there not?
-
What sort of allocation do they have?
I'll head into town tomorrow.

On SF 2, if you take E honda and make him do the rapid arm move thingy, it is basically impossible to counteract.
I'm sure some nerd will have devised some sort of method (you can almost get by it by doing Bison's sliding move) but it's bloody impossible to crack generally.
I used to be addicted to Street Fighter as a kid. Started to get back into SF2 through xbox live but nobody plays it.

Dang, chef really won't be back then.
Although they could do the hilarious sampling again.

Tell me more tickets will be available soon o_O?
for the past few weeks I was pretty much checking ticketweb every other day waiting for tickets to go on sale. Suddenly I saw them but didn't have my card. By the time I got home they'd sold out. Is that the lot? a little feedback would be nice, the site has no mention of Alkan and the bebo page just says tickets are on sale.

Was he at least not meant to play around the time Noisia did? I'm sure I remember seeing him written down.
also, what exactly is to expect from the Pendulum dj set?
-
I'd always had Stripey down as the happy go lucky sort as well

The worst is direct to video sequels.
Basically the producer/director's saying they know the films shit but want a fast buck.

I'd stopped watching it after the first couple of weeks but watched it last night and it was actually pretty good. Purely the fact that they were fucking with the housemates and making them all fall out. It's not really a long term solution to saving the show though. They seem to choose the complete wrong housemates now, most have very little to say and do. I remember in the nasty nick days when it was enjoyable without all the gimmicks. But then again it is overplayed and predictable now.
That Kat woman is so bloody irritating though. Everything about her annoys me greatly.

well stripey hits the nail on the head. missrepresent last time and pendulol this one. im not hating on jungle nation, appreciate what you guys do, but why not book andy C instead? 1. best dnb dj around 2. he plays drum and bass, not some sort of sped up metal hybrid.
caammmm on! the heads are screaming for you to book someone like calibre/zero tolerance/atlantic connection.
Didn't Andy C play up here a couple of months ago at Kef just before it shut?
-
I have a feeling nobody would notice any difference between a dj set and a so called "live" set by pendulum anyway, they have the unique distinction of being the biggest dnb producers which nobody in the dnb scene actually rates. All their "fans" are people who aren't into dnb.
The guitars and drums on the stage might be a give away.

The music in Snafu is absolutely great and I can't wait to see Erol alkan again. The only half decent club in Aberdeen.

I've come home from holiday and hate it even more.
The night life is dreadful, the weather is crap and it's just grey everywhere. I really, really need to move to the US or OZ soon. I went out on Saturday after the cinema and Belmont St is bloody horrible at night. Usually I'm too pissed to notice but it was an eye opener. Everyone's fighting or moaning at each other. The pubs are so predictable and boring. And don't get me onto the clubs. Exodus were playing New Found bloody Glory. No self appreciating club would even consider playing such music. the dancefloor was full of 17 year olds bobbing around like arse holes and I couldn't even get near the bar. Coming home from Ibiza has made me realise that not only is night life in Aberdeen terrible, it doesn't even really exist.
-
Do you have any idea how much their live set would be? I had a chance last year to have them live but it fell through. They are now 4 times as much...well into 5 figures!
If they were to play in Aberdeen the ticket sales would be pretty huge though I reckon. Pendulum are playing all over the UK these days and doing loads of random festivals. Why does Aberdeen miss out on absolutely everything

I honestly can't remember but I think it was possibly what's the Story Morning Glory.

Who cares, really who cares. She might have a fairly good voice but she's a bloody moron.

It's really good. Not a classic and the praise is over the top but one of the best films I've seen in a long time.
I never really go to the cinema anymore as the 00's have been a dire time for the movie industry but this was certainly worth it.
My only real complaints about the movie are parts of the plot were a little weak.
Harvey Dent suddenly becoming an insane murderer was a little hard to swallow and it seemed odd to introduce the Two Face character so late on in the film. I also thought the Rachel Dawes character was a bit lame and Gylenhaal (sp) lacked Holmes' looks. It didn't remotely bother me when she died. It was the same when Gordon appeared to die, it drew no emotion out of me.
I'm generally not a super hero fan to be honest but I like the way Nolan has made the Batman series almost plausible.
The real gem of the film was Ledger as the joker, a magnificent performance. Without Ledger I'm not sure how good this film would have been.
It's a shame William Fichtner didn't get more of a role, he's a terrific actor. His role was just really a nod to Heat.
Oh and despite it being really good Nolan's best film by a mile is still Memento.
