  1. Di Maggio's, Royal Exchange Square Bier Halle (does 2 for 1 pizzas which are yummy), Gordon Street Velvet Elvis (it's in the West End but the food is homemade and really reasonable), Dumbarton Road Grill On The Corner, Bothwell Street Pancho Villas, Bell Street, Merchant City Cafe Andaluz, Cresswell Lane, West End That's all I can think of just now! Check 5pm.co.uk for really good offers for decent restaurants!
  2. Oooft! Harsh! Ha. I do take the subway but I stand in the queue!
  3. I thought the Man Utd - Spurs game was quite boring. I think the lack of goals didn't help. It was a bit like watching tennis, backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards. Liverpool - Everton was more exciting but I think that was because of the goals!
  4. 127 Hours. I really enjoyed it but I thought I was going to be sick! Actually quite emotional as well.
  5. That's not good! This one was quite amusing though...
  6. Oh hahaha. I think I'll cope with the 94 mins that it lasts for!!
  7. Hahaha. Obviously it would be nice if Celtic got a fine. But equally if it was Rangers fans doing the same thing then same rules apply!
  8. Who knows! I'd like to think that the same rules are applied across the leagues and competitions!
  9. I doubt it very much. The police/stewards didn't do anything when they set flares off at Ibrox last week prior to kick off and either just after half time or one of the goals. Must be the Green Brigade's new favourite thing.
  10. Saw The Next 3 Days on Friday night. It was quite good. Russell Crowe played his character well. Again, as with my complaint about Love and Other Drugs... why are films well over 2 hours these days?! This one could've done with 20 mins off it as well!
  11. Love and Other Drugs. Not a bad romantic comedy with a serious undertone of the Anne Hathaway's character having Parkinsons at 26. Could've done with 20 mins off the time though.
  12. I am really enjoying this week's Radio 1. Zane Lowe is definitely waking me up on the way to work. I actually don't mind Nick Grimshaw all that much. Least he's just chatting to guests and playing music rather than Scott Mills' nonsense!
  13. Who leaves a baby in a car when it's -7!! That Costco store is massive so they could've been there for hours! They might find a social worker rocking up to their door!!
  14. The 3 points should've been heading to Ayrshire! Just heard Mixu on the radio and he was scathing! Just goes to show how well Kilmarnock have been playing recently!
  15. I'm rather pleased that football is back. I really thought Killie were going to break their 55 year record tonight but 2 dropped points for Celtic is good enough for me!
  16. Think it is! I've never been but I've heard good things! As with everything they've got a Faceoook page. The Spotty Bag Shop | Facebook
  17. I'm with you on this! Very lovely end to the gigs I've been to this year. Definitely a huge highlight. Having all my Christmas shopping done, wrapped and Christmas cards posted which means I can actually enjoy my 3 days annual leave this week instead of rushing around!
  18. I totally agree with this! What scares me is where they find the Scottish people though!
  19. Boo hiss boo!!! But it was a good goal!!
  20. It says it would be implemented season after next which I presume is 2012/13 season?
  21. I'd quite like to keep Foster. I wasn't keen to start with but he's settling not bad now.
  22. On the temperature thing... when I got off the plane in Dubai about 5 weeks ago it's was 30 degrees at 1.30am. It will make absolutely no difference what time the games are played! It's going to be awful!
  23. This is true but there's a big space for a spare tyre though!
  24. This is quite irritating! My car has a tyre inflator kit. I could probably, if I really had to, change a tyre. This thing - I have no idea!!! What's wrong with a good old spare tyre?!
  25. The Scotrail and National Rail Enquiries website saying two different things. Train to work cancelled 10 minutes before it was due to leave so had to get the 9am train that goes to Edinburgh and stops off at Falkirk High which resulted in a taxi to the office.... National Rail Enquiries saying trains from Falkirk Grahamston were running and Scotrail saying they weren't. They were cancelled but surely they can link up their information! It'll be fun tomorrow too!!
