  1. That was not enjoyable! The Hearts players all seem really big and pretty strong. They'll ruffle some feathers this season I think.
  2. Nope. Bid accepted by Aston Villa but he's disappeared off to Spain for a week. Rumours of a couple of Spanish teams interested and they could probably offer the type of money he's already on.
  3. I can't remember exactly but there was possible only 1 charge when the initial rumblings happened but now there's more than that and it seems to be taking a while to sort out. Yeah, I really rate Papac, but he only signed a one year extension so Wallace may be viewed as the long term replacement.
  4. He's wiped the debt. Wallace has signed a 5 year deal so if he becomes a 'sensation' then the sell on price will probably be half decent. As far as I can tell he's a left-back and only Papac has been occupying that position. There's been no competition for Papac in a couple of years. Also, Goodwillie's legal issues are still outstanding. This is probably the main reason Whyte wasn't stumping up the money. Alejandro Bedoya has signed a pre-contract for January too. Don't know anything about him, but apparently he had a relatively good Gold Cup for the US.
  5. I'd happily have him back. But looks like he might be off to Cardiff. Whyte's obviously only content with paying pennies for players!! Although in saying that I'm glad it's all back on Saturday!
  6. I think Hearts should've sacked him straightaway but I'm not sure it's as simple as that. I read some kind of statement from his solicitor who says that the court did not impose any conditions regarding contact and/or working with children under 18 so I think that makes it a bit harder. Then again maybe they're backtracking and if they sacked him now they'd be worried he would do something about unfair dismissal or something!
  7. Saw Bridesmaids on Friday night. I thought it was great. A film for forgetting everything else that's happening and just full of giggles (lots of ridiculous toilet humour!) Bit of a lull in the middle but overall it's pretty good.
  8. Saw The Green Lantern last night in 2d. It wasn't very good. I can't decide if being in 3d would make it any better. There were some amusing moments and Ryan Reynolds was quite nice to look at but all in all not great.
  9. Yes yes and yes!!! I remember waiting for this to be released in the cinema and seeing it at the first showing in the Belmont. This was all because of a walking tour about East Berlin and the crazy tactics we got shown in the Stasi museum. Amazing film and well worth it's Oscar! Might rewatch it tonight actually!
  10. I can't play guitar at all. But this little thing makes me sound amazing!!
  11. Saw X-Men: First Class on Friday night. Very enjoyable. Thought James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender were great. Coincidently watched X-Men: The Last Stand last night on Ch4... it's a shame I only have a wee tv as these films are definitely suited to bigger ones! Went to see Hangover 2 today. Some very funny moments but I think the first one was funnier. The monkey and Mr Chow made me giggle a lot!!
  12. According to the postcode I'm at just now and my parents' home address I should support Rangers. Just as well I do then.
  13. It was my favourite of the books actually. But my least favourite of the films. The balance was off and there were bits that were definitely missing, and completely wrong to the book. I'd type some examples but I should really make them spoilers! I really enjoyed the trilogy though! 9/10 overall.
  14. The story about Jelavic and Man Utd came from the tabloids today after he gave an interview to a Croatian newspaper. It's probably likely he said something like he hopes one day he would get the opportunity blah blah blah. He's been amazing this 2nd half of the season once he recovered from Ian Black's ridiculous tackle, but Manchester United and 13 million! Haha. Even I laughed at that this morning.
  15. I actually can't make sense of what's going on tonight. It's all getting beyond a joke!
  16. They're only kids!! The Daily Record described them as the "Dyslexic Loyal". What if they actually are?! I'm sure the 'journalist' would feel bad then! It was such a tiny banner compared to the bigger ones last night that I didn't even notice it! Tonight I am turning into a Hearts fan... one night only, just like Caley Thistle last week.
  17. Apply for a crisis loan from the job centre!
  18. That is the best bit of the whole thing! Someone needs to get that man some anger management classes!!
  19. Well... I'm not sure my nerves can hold out the rest of this campaign. But Caley Thistle really did do a huge favour tonight! Sounded really enjoyable!!
  20. Think I'm going to have to watch this, or spend tomorrow scouring the web for the manifestos etc as I have absolutely no idea who I'm going to vote for on Thursday!
  21. Good call! That's on a par with getting up from a sun lounger to go in the pool and forgetting that the tiles/path around the pool will be like walking on lava!!
  22. I wasn't going to watch it, but I wanted to see the dress and then I ended up watching the whole thing! It's still on and even Fearne Cotton isn't annoying me today!!
  23. That Alexander McQueen wedding dress is stunning!! Completely off the argument, but I couldn't help myself!!
  24. Oh yes. First thing I pack! I should've read what Trigger's post properly! Oops! But I was really just confirming that half hour time difference thingy!
  25. It does. When I took a short flight from Melbourne to Adelaide I had to change my clock by a half hour. Even more confusing that the being a million hours ahead in the first place!
