  7. Beautiful black Fender aerodyne telecaster for sale just like this one Fender Aerodyne Telecaster Gigged once and no longer used, 2 liitle dinks on back of body apart from that it's in mint condition, it's got a humbucker bridge pick-up and sounds great. I'm looking for 350 for it or part exchange for a Precision bass in similar condition, black or white.
  8. oi oi i would never say legendary, AX is the legend.
  9. I'm fuckin sick o sitting here in front of the tv watching/listening to shite:swearing:, i need something to do! Any bands out there need a bass player? I'm in a band just now (16Again) but we dont do enuff to keep me occupied,i love punk but i will play anything apart from country, death metal, funk. Bands i like; rancid, sex pistols, clash, the jam, specials, joy division, garbage, iron maiden, killers, pigeon detectives, motorhead, editors, new order, foo fighters, muse, blah blah blah. Original stuff or covers, 100 % commitment. I've got my own gear (rickenbacker, fender, status, ashdown, trace elliot) and my own transport, been gigging for almost 20 years, check oot www.myspace.com/16again16 OR www.myspace.com/daviex . Anyway, if you need a bass player (or want to start a Garbage or New Order tribute band) drop me an email at dghay96@hotmail.co.uk or if you want a yap pop along to drummonds on sunday (24th june) 16 Again are one o the support bands for the UK Subs. DX.
  10. House of Love-Destroy the heart Dead Kennedys-Holiday in cambodia The Jam-Thats Entertianment Anti nowhere league-I hate people New order-Blue Monday Then Jerico-Big area Cock Sparrer-Riot squad Iron Maiden-2 Minutes to midnight Book; Punk,an oral history by John Robb Luxury; A big titted, slim, easy, beautiful woman who will willingly go out hunting for my food, cook it and feed it to me and then tend to all my needs and she only talks when asked and doesnt have any opinions about anything unless co-urst in to it. The exact opposite of just now really.
  11. Thats right, we did punt it around but who's going to take the word of an oap punk playing in a shameless cover band anyway. Dont get me wrong it was great to be asked to play and really appreciate it and had a good time but if everyone involved does a bit of promotion (including the promoter cause lets face it being a promoter means you promote things.) it could have pulled in more punters.
  12. So, isnt expressive playing part of playing bass guitar? It is possible to play a bass with a pick and play soft, just like you can with fingers. it gives a different tone but i've never had a clicking incident yet but if i did i'd just adjust the eq slightly. oh aye, favourite bass players, 1. Flea 2. Bruce Foxton 3. Peter Hook
  13. Use nylon picks, they dont break they just wear down.
  14. I thought Guns On The Roof played a blinder! They must've got a right bump back down to earth playing to a handfull of people at drummonds considering they were supporting Rancid a week or so ago down at the Barrowlands! (and they were great there as well) Severe lack of posters or any promotion for this gig, disapointing!
  15. Crackin show. i liked the bit with the sheeps head at the dinner table. nice. And that guy with the AK47......he liked to sing didnt he? Fuckin scarey. Best show i've seen for a long time on tv. You should watch 'paris to dakar' on bbc3, that's charlie boorman doing his best to get to dakar through the desert on his bike.
  16. October 23rd. This should be a good gig:up:
  17. Anyone here going down to see Rancid at the barrowlands on 8th November? I am.
  18. That sounds like it could be a great gig! Even though it's on a school night i think i'll have to go.
