Nice recordings, I especially liked Baby I Love You and the keys on Hard to Handle. They were special. I don't think there's owt wrong with a covers band, especially when it's done well and yous are very entertaining.
Really enjoyed your set when we supported yous and Super Six at the Tunnels, so I'll defintely have a wee listen after work. Fingers crossed for I Want You Back (or was it ABC), you did a blinding cover of that.
Sadly not a Brocher. The dark one was probably Riptide which is a nice stout. I order from the website, which is pretty decent value if you like the more exotic ones and are putting in a reasonable sized order (it's a flate rate 6 as far as I recall).
Whilst I like the first one, the new EP has more diverse songs in terms of keys, tempos, etc. The CD hangs together a bit better too, i.e. with the track order and that. Plus it's got me having a wank on track 4.
Not entirely convinced that it wasn't my jaiket, but we concluded it was these student ladies sitting in the row in front. They were quite young and possibly hadn't fully mastered wiping.
I went. I was sitting next to you and there was a funny shitey smell. It was pretty good and Steve was awesome with his camp German accent and spectacular dancing. It's still on the morra, I would recommend a keek.
Where do female pilots sit? The cuntpit. That Lucky Rascal would be soiling himself at combination of swearywords in my name and joke, were he not still inconsolable after last night's defeat.
Thrashist Regime are quite entertaining and pretty good players, Pryon are a wee bit better. The ones in 2nd are a bit like The Beta Band but don't thrill and Wifebeater have really good titles but aren't quite there. Tupelo have a good name but are a wee bit pedestrian. Is that a fair appraisal? I'm a bit simple and more than a little autistic, so I really don't know.
Saucy! You should gie them a blast, two and a half octaves without moving your hand is a lazy bastard's dream. I got one for a laugh a couple of years back and was quickly convinced. Plus they're ideal for a wankathon.
Anyone have recommendations on a local guitar technician? I play six string basses with dual truss rods and would like someone competent to give them a service to optimise intonation and action. Ta.
