just found out the english smoking ban starts in july. shit cause im on tour in august. but even then, it's been almost 12 months since our smoking ban came in, and i still feel just as angry about it. but by now i've given up any hope that our government is going to do anything right of course. if u support this then u must realize your supporting the invasion of human rights. we should have set this out as having smoking and non smoking pubs (landlord's decision), rather than targeting smokers as bad people. to quote Bill Hicks - "Some of you are sitting here with a drink in your hand saying 'Smokings So Bad, Bill! aye was hoping to stick around and see him after the upstarts on thursday, but fuckin buses prevailed. glad to hear the night kept getting better after i left. Captain Face were pretty bloody decent when they played the Fat Hippy Halloween gig at Drummonds as well. pitty i missed this one.

we (Chaos Creations) were trying to book LAP last time they were on tour. September time last year i believe. Was well disappointed when we couldn't get a venue for the night.

i wouldn't mind actually seeing any of these bands actually. so good chance i may try n get my arse to this wan! It'll be nice to see Captain Kate again. They were pretty awesome when we had them playing with King Of conspiracy and the Middens back on September 23rd. btw... lovin the poster, the idea would never have occoured to me. looks awesome.

I havn't seen one good tattoo from Ash and im afraid im being serious there. For example, my mate noble got his done there and he's went over the lines a few times. also met a guy in a pub with a tribal thing done is arm, completly fucked. and there's been a few more. As for piercing. Daryl knows his shit, he's good. Michelle is not. Girlfriend's had two peircings from her. She scraped the inside of her ear trying to get the clamp in for one and the other one if so fucked up it's unreal. However every other one she's had (12 or so) from Daryl have been brilliant quality.

sadly we've had both numskull and stuntface pull out. yeah that's a kick in the balls. but billy liar will be joining us for an hour before the upstarts come one and by the time the upstarts hit the stage it will only be ONE pound to get in. spare us some change gov'na

we're still trying to get a support band to open the show for us. basically we've been through about 7 bands and none can make it. we've got one band left, but if they can't do it... is there anyone who fancies just sitting down with an acoustic guitar and playing a few songs? we are going to have another band start of the evening at 9.30 and get some people in and then when kef closes, the upstarts will hit the stage and the night will continue in full flavour.
