Hate when people refer to themselves in third person!
The Dave agrees with this one.

I know they have.
The letters r, o, b, i, and n

stranraer is an absolute cunt of a journey down THAT road
When I'm next down in March or April, I'm watching the Italian Job the night before
In fact, I might stick it on the bus DVD player... Sure I'd be popular...
-
Auld wifies (though not old enough for a pass, clearly) who get on the bus, having clearly spent an eternity waiting for the terminally slow shell of rust to arrive, and then spend aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages delving beyond the buttons and various bits of lint in their purse to extract something resembling coinage to hand to the driver.
You've been doing fuck all while waiting on the bus, why not get your loose change out then instead of holding up a bus full of people desperate to get to work*?

Football. Just... why?

A bit of Captain Face never goes amiss either..

greg kelly was outstanding for us during pre season and the first few months of the season, so much so that st johnstone wanted him (as he was training with them full time) and it was due to go through in jan but Peaty got injured (again) and we had to recall him
you never know, im happy for gibby to stay, although, since he went to you lot his attacking game went out the window, his shooting is shocking these days
JB has been at left back recently and has been terrible, easily our best player in centre back or mid though but we are short in numbers
Hegs has been a revelation at right back though
martin wood has been training with us since he left keith and played in a bounce game tonight too, id have him back
Greg did pretty well for us - for 80 minutes a game. I remember his debut against Morton vivdly. 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go, and then lost it 4-2. We also levelled away to Stranraer with 10 minutes left, only for Kelly to throw the ball into his own net. D'oh!
I'd kill for any of JB, Gibby or Hegs back in our midfield, and the versatitlity of JB and Hegs is a real bonus in a tight squad. Still gutted we let all three go
-
will give kelly a run for his money, been making a heap of mistakes recently
RECENTLY? For Greg Kelly, listening when his career advisor said "try goalkeeping" was a mistake!
Gibson may also be on his way to the second divisionCan't see him going to that mob to be honest. Can we have him if you don't want him?

Bastard - did the Heed get beat?
Aye. Fucking appalling display, and none of the players seemed even remotely bothered about the reward on offer. Joke.

I found that if I did fuck all revision, and tried to just bullshit my way through all my exams, I passed.
I tried revision once and failed. Also, I never even attempted to be well rested prior to an exam.
My conclusions?
Changing your routine to take account of exams leads to failure.

I'm a fucking superb bullshitter

Hampden today, for what is being termed "our cup final". A trip to Parkhead in the next round is up for grabs and, financially speaking, we simply can't afford to lose. Eeep!
Fucksticks.

City claim they've pulled out of the Kaka deal:
Manchester City has terminated its discussions with AC Milan over the possible transfer of the player Kaka.Following a meeting in Milan today, the Club felt that it was unlikely that the two parties could reach common ground for an agreement.
The discussions reached only a preliminary stage and the player was not involved at any time. No commercial terms were framed.
Commenting on the situation, Garry Cook stated: "Whilst Manchester City Football Club has an obvious interest in world class players of the quality of Kaka, we owe it to our fans that such a transfer must work on every level; commercially, financially, in terms of results on the field and within Manchester City's broader community."
Berlusconi is claiming Kaka turned it down, and is taking the credit for it

Harsh, I would say, but that seems to be the way of doing things these days.
HARSH?!?! Between his spell at the Arabs and his second at Caley, did he not win something like 6 games? Unless all managers are to be judged against East Stirling's record between 2002-2007, that is an unutterably shite performance.
grumble mutter Iain Stewart mutter grumble

MacDougalls sports bar. Isn't it in Portlethen? I may be wrong.
He's taken over the Criterion, which is now the Frank McDougal Sports Bar.
Well chuffed I went today. Due to my other commitments I can only go to Sunday or midweek games and had never bothered with the games against either of the Old Firm which leaves me in the enviable position of never having seen the Dons do anything against the OF other than win by 2 goals

As for the earlier comment about Mackie being hammered, that's not unusual, or at least never used to be. You can take the loon out of Kemnay, but you can't take Kemnay out of the loon. Actually, I think he still lives there, surprised he's not on smack!
Believe he left Kemnay when he got married...
In aberdeenArchie from balamory
Good shout. I briefly met him at the Hogmanay street party a few years back when he was in panto up here.
I've also met serial womaniser John Leslie in his Blue Peter days, and taken a pish next to the BBC's Richard Gordon at a Peterhead game.

Chris Harvey is the grey haired bloke. Met him at a Captain Face gig last year.
I meet many famous people, but the best was probably Gem from Oasis in Glasgow.

South and RDS? Couple of commoners...
I'll be in the Main with a hard hat on just in case a chunk of the roof falls off. First Dons game I've been to this season which is a pretty shit record, like. I have a hunch it'll be 1-1, for some reason.
Pah, I'll be in the press box for the Homecoming Scottish Cup Quarter Final, after the Heid hump QP and Ra Sellick, without the services of Rofuckingreee, thanks.
Here, RossP, I'm surprised that neither RiG or Nod know you. I'd have thought they would, being... Well, individually, one of the five Caley fans
BTW, Mr Sam L4 - are you intending on heading to Hampden on Tuesday? I owe you a beer for useful suggestion-making when I was left in the shit looking for a kilt.
-
Where are you sitting, boy?Guy is seeing about getting me a ticket next to him and some college mates. Upper RDS he was saying.
I might be going as well - would be in the South with Edd. Scouting mission, you see...

FAO: Peterhead Dave.
Your worst nightmare could be coming true...
Blue Toon consider move to sign Inverness striker - Press & Journal
I'd be delighted however
I hope you catch crabs, herpes, flu, cholera and ebola for reminding me of having read that this morning. :swearing:

Eh, HMV have been involved in music a lot longer than most companies...
True enough, but it doesn't make them any less the spawn of satan. I don't like their overpricing, or the irresponsible encouragement of pop pap
-
Great, music might as well just die now.
Fuck HMV.

Our best away performance for months, Bobby Mann's first start since August, and a point earned with 4 minutes left. Decent.
Just seen the end of the Hearts-Caley game on BBC Alba. What a fucking howitzer of a strike from yon needy wee nyaff Imrie!
