  3. Hmm well classic incident would be walking down King st at about 7pm with a mate drinking a bottle of vodka on our way to a party when i was 15... i did alot of stuff like that in 3rd year actually. Now at the responsible age of 18, it would still be drinking related nonsense..house party shenanigans etc.. No im not an alchoholic!

  8. I think that would be quite amusing, and it might name and shame some of the 'funny guys' going around giving random neg scene point comments just to be asses.
  9. Recently have added a custom made metallic blue 60's reissue strat (non-official) to my collection. And the Westbury is for sale by the way- http://www.aberdeen-music.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23883
  10. I think age is irrelevant, although i know it may seem rich coming from an 18 year old, but if your good at what you do, then theres no reason why you cant play in a band at most ages. Furthermore, i think most younger people respect older musicians due to their greater experience.
  11. Aha, yeah thats the shit. Although personally i would have hung the frog the other way round if you catch my drift. Someone shoud get an avatar with the inventor getting poisoned by one of those rainforest frogs.... ahh the irony.
  12. I know ! It sounded stupid to me too, but i checked these snes collector sites and priced my stuff accordingly, the games alone are worth close to 50 apparently. So my deal is quite cheap in comparison- off of http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SNES-International_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQdptZ0QQftidZ2QQpZ3QQtZkm Equinox- 13.99 NBA jam-3.99 Vortex -8.99 Rise of the robots-4.99... you get the point and the console- 45.00 at http://www.consolepassion.co.uk/super-nintendo-consoles.htm So 50 is pretty good.
  13. No takers ? Well id settle for 50 for the snes and games.
  14. whoa, she looks exactly like a mate, i mean excatly...
  15. Id like to have met Stevie Ray Vaughan and had a jam with him, that would be the best thing ever. Realisticaly, id like to meet michael jackson and get him to confess all his secrets to me, then sell the info to the press for millions.... hahahaha
  16. Newly re-formed as 'The Moustacheless'
  17. Its so hard to believe that people actually like the general shite they play on the radio these days, and that Oasis song is trully dire.
  18. Just realised i need to sell some stuff before i move. Selling a boxed Super Nintendo, one controller, and all the leads and instructions in very good condition. Also included are 7 damn good games, although quite rare and unheard of. . Starwing (manual, no box)- aka the original starfox game, prob the best game ever on the snes, and the 3D graphics are not bad considering the age. . Rise of the Robots (boxed, manual) - decent 3D fighting game, quite rare. . NBA Jam (boxed, manual) .Vortex (boxed manual)- crazy robot 3D game, rare and good fun. .Unirally ( manual, no box)- Addictive 2D monocylce racer, weird but great. . The lawnmower man (boxed, manual)- based on the movie, platformer, rare. . Equinox (boxed, manual)- zelda style rpg, no idea how i found this one.. Looking for around 70, but flexible. .Also i am selling a well used Birdhouse Tony Hawk signature deck- 7 .And a full set up Flip Rowley deck, with Tensor trucks, spitfire wheels, and lucky bearings. Used but still pretty good condition, dunno about the price.. prob cost about 100 new so maybe 35. I will be reasonably flexible on the prices, just drop me a pm if interested, Cheers
  19. Haha, god do i hate them....
  20. I am a huge blues fan, i usually go to the Blue Lamp to see live blues, which is a nice venue. However it would be nice for another venue to showcase some local talent as well as attract some younger audiences.
  21. Damm right your good, i like your cover of 'save tonight', keep at it man.
  22. I cant honestly imagine what i want to be in 10 years never mind 30 years. Whatever comes up is what will happen, i dont see myself having a very stable sort of career even though i am going to uni next year.

    BLUES JAM Part II

Fair question, from what i have heard about this type of rock, it has been sometimes classed as 'disco rock' because of the long winding guitar riffs, and Ian Brown's unique singing. Although it is probobly more of a personal opinion, but here is a quote off their website - The first true recorded indication of the genius - I do not use the word lightly - of this band came in the form of their next single, 'Sally Cinnamon', a little gem, a captivating, spiraling utterly 'pop' single, doomed to ultimate failure because of being tied to an unworkable deal with a small record company but, nevertheless, the song that, in 1987, enriched a million indie discos, softened a thousand cynics. I am a stone roses fan in any case, i was just saying how so many bands these days are trying to emulate them, and how they are all in that disco rock category, in my opinion.

    BLUES JAM Part II

I dont think it is just Aberdeen, its just in general Blues is pretty quite at the moment, what with the new found interest the public has for the Franz Ferdinand craze, all these stone roses 'disco rock' bands have kinda stolen the attention. I think it will just be a matter of time before some young artist shakes things up again, just like Stevie did in the 80's.
