I liked interpols first album. Decent band, only briefly heard the new one. Initially I thought it was bland, good background shite etc. However, with the exception of the first album I always have that impression with the polis. Need to give it a proper listen

Lately been listening to stapleton, dischord stuff, king creosote, eska, 65 days of static, REM, tortoise, macrocosmica, dinosuar jr, Faust, drive like jehu, smog, part chimp, sonic youth, etc etc. I'm on bass, Ross is doing guitar/vox gee us a shout if you fancy a jam. when I went I made my way to Dumfries then got a taxi. I remember hopping onto a few trains. I wouldn't recommend getting a taci fae dumfries though. Hmmm. there are buses from Dumfries to the Wickerman at certain times throughout the day though, although we were too late on arrival to get them. Good luck stew.
