Where can you hire a court indoors for badminton, other than ASV? Bearing in mind, I'm a member of PureGym.

There would be no parking spaces left if they let Union Square staff have subsidised parking - there is quite a number of security and cleaning staff, let alone all the coffee shop, restaurant and retail staff.

Parcels going missing - had to get one order resent, then eventually refunded and a Christmas pressie has now gone AWOL it's driving me mad just now, and Royal Mail refuse to look for anything without a ticket being left (which could easily disappear since the buggers don't post them through my flat door)

I'll maybe stick with it then, maybe it's a bit like Blacklist (imo) where it's a bit slow to begin with but becomes brilliant.

I think that happens with medical students - the tutors warn them when they start that the students will think they're dying from a really obscure disease.

I've just started watching Sherlock (late to the game, but it's on Netflix). The first episode was pretty annoying and predictable, but I'm told I need to stick with it as it gets better - does it? Or are my workmates lying haha

Getting the image of him with plastic-painted features was difficult when I realised who he was. Anomaly was a very obvious, over-choreographed film too. Now, I love The Raid and Oldboy, so it feels a bit odd to be saying that. I haven't seen Kidulthood, but have been told good things.

The Anomaly - bit weird and overall crap. It seems to want to be The Matrix crossed with Surrogates, with Michael Bisping as a Serbian dude (the guy needs to stick to MMA, he's just not an actor). It was really drawn-out at the beginning, and we were close to just turning it off but it seemed to get better once you actually understood what was happening. They slow down certain punches or kicks in the fight sequences and it gets old very quickly. The main guy played the plastic black bin victim in Dr Who (I caught 5 minutes when visiting folk). I couldn't really take it seriously after that haha.

The Signal - predictable and shite, about some kids who have graduated from MIT trying to track down a hacker during a trip to California. Next thing, they're in an old-fashioned hospital and everyone is acting a bit off.

I'm irrationally impatient today, the slow as fuck internet at my work is now a major pet hate - I really want to scream. Nipping to M&S to get lunch was pretty damn testing in this mood, why do pensioners do their food shopping at this time? *rants*

You certainly would NOT put a wooden spoon into the mouth of someone having a seizure, their jaw clamps shut when having a fit so you would only hurt them.

With first aid for seizures, I thought you didn't check/go near their mouth anymore as you're likely to get bitten. Only because I was told by my epilepsy nurse that a persons jaw clamps shut at the beginning of a fit, so if they were to bite it, it'd be then - the discussion stemmed from that.

Delayed response, but yes I knew them - the owners were my grandparents haha (not the dodgy break-in ones).

I'm pretty sure it doesn't need to be changed, given all the chemicals they use in it. The filters should get changed often and the chemicals checked on a regular basis (few times a day). Alford pool was rank though, and used to change theirs every 6 months or so - they just emptied it into the drain in their car park.

Hmm, I'd ignore it normally but just to clarify, when you say essential have they noted their "preferred" and "essential" requirements? I'd try and liken the remaining requirement to something you already know, and how this would be simple to learn. For some places, unless you meet all essential requirements, you don't get an interview.

We've started watching The Blacklist too, the first episode was pretty good but it gets "samey" pretty quickly. I'm hoping it picks up
