KILL II THIS - Deviate
because not many bands make records that sound like machine head meets fear factory without sounding piss.
And Kill II This are no different!
-
Haven't heard first but enjoyed Never Never Land.
-
Agree both The Killers and Stellastarr* are great.

Where the hell is Queen Street?

I'd say Prologue to History by the Manics or A Plague Upon Your Hissing by the Mars Volta, although it is just an unreleased demo not an actual B-side.

Godhopping is orgasmic.

Yeah, De Facto are great, I love Megaton Shotblast. I don't very many people have heard them though. Omar's bass playing in De Facto is almost as fine as his guitar playing.

i saw the Mars Volta supporting the Chili peppers, and i reckon Omar is a good frontman too, impressive leaps!
Omar? Frontman? But I know he means Cedric and i couldn't possibly disagree.

1. Richey James Edwards
2. Cedric Bixler Zavala
3. Ian Curtis
4. Morrissey
5. Billy Corgan
6. Robert Smith
7. Joe Strummer
Can't think of anymore.

I don't see why you listen to any music other than the Smiths and Moz in that case.

I reckon it's been a pretty good year so far with great albums from Auf Der Maur, The liars, Morrissey and a good but not great album from Franz Ferdinand. Still there's Hope of the States, The Killers, new Interpol, new New Order, new Cure album, possibly new Manics album and new Coopers album.

Extremo - I mean "Extremely Emotionally Hardcore"? What a heap of shit. In fact all kinds of Cores are shit.
-
Definitely The Mars Volta. They're better, not only than Sparta but, than every band that ever existed. When ATD-I went on "indefinate hiatus" Omar and Cedric took all the talent and creativity and then increased it a ten-fold for the Mars Volta. Sparta have only a few good songs and Jim Ward is crap frontman completely lacking in any kind of charisma.

Good news, I've found out that this is in fact bollocks. Support will be provided by N.E.R.D.
-
I was told that support would come from Busted and McFly no less. Can anyone confirm this or is it pure fabrication?

you rarely see decent (in my opinion) local acts playing kef because they are aware that its the shitest venue in town to play at
You used to be a chef. Ha ha. You don't have the right to slag off Diablo when you used to be a chef.

Sly and the Family Stone are indeed in my listening section. What of it?
