  1. Danny Carey (Tool)

    Travis Barker(Transplants' date='BoxCarRacer,Blink182)

    Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, ex-Soundgarden)[/quote']

Matt Cameron is also ex-Smashing Pumpkins don't you know.

    My faves would be

    Stephen Morris (Joy Division/New Order)

Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins (Let us not speak of Zwan))

    Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta)

  2. but when i feel like this i know it doesnt matter' date=' when i eat when im not hungry im sure i feel my face get fatter.[/quote']

    The Shy Retirer, good stuff.

    Fave lyric:

Self worth scatters, self-esteem's a bore,

I've long since moved to a higher plateau,

This discipline's so rare so please applaud,

Just look at the fat scum who pamper me,

Yeah, four stone seven an epilogue of youth,

    Such beautiful dignity in self-abuse,

I've finally come to understand life

Through staring blankly at my navel.

  3. The new Cure single' date=' 'The End of The World', is great! Anyone else like it??

I so wish I was seeing The Cure at the Curiosa Festival in the States this summer.

Support from Interpol, The Rapture, Mogwai, Thursday, Muse, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Cooper Temple Clause and more [/quote']

Hell that is an awesome line-up!! I saw the Cure on Jonny Woss and was disappointed by the song. Still get the album though.

  4. There was one chillis song I didn't recognise. It may be new or just a b-side or something I'd never heard before but it was the best song of the night. I think it had something about "shame" in the lyrics. Anyone know what it was?

  5. 1' date=' Kirk Hammett - for his awesomeness, great solos - metal legend

2, Vai - nothing more needed to be said bout this crazy kid

3, Jimi Hendrix - started off a lot of things, this boys a legend who inluenced legends of today![/b'] :band:

Well thats just lowered the tone of this whole thread!!

  6. Since you say any kind of punk:

The Clash - London Calling (Classic punk(though more eclectic))

The Faint - Danse Mcabre (Electro punk)

    Radio 4 - Gotham (Punk-Funk)

Fugazi - The Argument (Hardcore(Although probably their least punk album))

Need more time to think about this.

  7. I agree, I don't like the removal of the military style drumbeat from the chorus (if you could call it that) of Enemies/Friends. I also don't like how Black Dollar Bills almost interrupts The Red, the White, the Black, the Blue. There should be more of a space in between those two songs. However, after three listens I can safely say that it is a wonderful album and certainly best so far this year.

  8. Billy Corgan - first "good" guitarist i really got into and i love his all his tones on siamese dream (specially rocket solo) bit of a dick tho

Billy corgan a "bit" of a dick?

    Anyway:

Omar Rodriguez Lopez - The Mars Volta

    John Frusciante - RCHP

James Dean Bradfield - Manics (Criminally underrated esp. Holy Bible)

    Johnny Marr - The Smiths

Chad Dominic - Mansun (Another criminally underrated one)
