And the Clash are in not like other "the" bands!! Fair enough their first album may be straight forward punk but they experimented and delved into heaps of other genre's including jazz, dub, reggae, funk, blues, hill-billy!!! And you can hardly lump all "the" bands together. The Cure sound absolutely nothing like The Vines!

And I am not making light of Roy Castles death, I just find it obscene that this one man has become the argument stopping point-prover of every anti-smoker in Britain, how can you possibly credit his death solely on passive smoking, people contract illnesses like cancer all of the time without smoking I have relatives who've contracted cancer without ever touching a cigarette and barely setting foot in a bar.

I hate to bring up the same argument over and over again, but CAR FUMES are incredibly poisonous, not only do they rip a hole in the O-Zone layer, they rip a hole in your lungs. Try going to Picadilly Circus, you'll be fucking choking on car fumes before you even catch a sniff of a cigarette.

I just found it bizzare that you seemed to assume that my elderly relatives all went to smokey bars and all were alive and in good health. I was just informing you that your assumption was wrong. And I swore cos your assumption angered me, the cursing was not directed towards my deceased grandparents and as such i don't think it's inappropriate. And no none of them died of smoking related illness but as i stated that wasn't why i brought them up. I ain't arguing on the Roy Castle point, i'd just rather not take the risk as far as cancer is concerned and smoking fills your lungs with tar and contributes to the clogging of arteries as well so it's not all about cancer. And stop it with all the government conspracies if they didn't genuinely think smoking was the cause of illness then they wouldn't be taking steps to reduce it cos it wouldn't be a drain on NHS resources and they also need the tax from cigarettes. I don't think a ban on cars is in anyway realistic so that's a bit of an irrelevant argument. And I think the smoking/non-smoking sections like they have in restaurants sounds like a reasonable idea. I never once actually stated that i would support a full ban on smoking in bars and pubs just that smokers are often inconsiderate to non-smokers.

Right, no my calling smokers "inconsiderate cunts" is not inconsiderate although I'm not talking all smokers cos some are considerate enough to go outside to smoke or at least not blow it in your fucking face. So why do I go out to bars and pubs? Stupid question, I think it is fair to assume that i go out to drink alcohol in a licensed building and enjoy myself with my mates. And I'm not telling anyone they can't smoke but the attitude of the people upon whom I wished death really pisses me off. They think that people who don't smoke shouldn't to go to pubs and bars if they are worried about damaging their health from passive smoking. That's ridiculous, they're the ones with the terrible habits and if anyone should miss out it should be them. And I'm not just complaining about the smell or anything like that, I am genuinely concerned for my own health cos I have diabetes making me at greater risk of having other aspects of my health deteriorate and my lungs are one of the aspects of my health most at risk. When I got the illness i was told by doctors and nurses that i should still be able to do whatever I want but apparently not because many people, who unlike me choose to make their own health deteriorate think that it's okay for them to make mine deteriorate too and if i don't want that to happen I should just stay in and not have a life. Relationship of Command is a masterpiece but I don't like Acrobatic Tenemant much. In/Casino/Out is way better and Vaya is worth the money. They're not a patch on The Mars Volta.
