  1. How can you misspell Saturday? Twice?
  2. That's MAD! I heard my old Latin teacher was on Grampian because the SQA are thinking of getting rid of Higher Latin...but as far as I know, our class was never filmed and I was NEVER interviewed. Although if it'll make me a celebrity, sure, it's me. Also, Mr Dougall once played golf with my dad.
  3. Wow. If I had to be any thread in the world, I'd be this thread.
  4. Definetely Jeremy, because he lent me 30p once. And if I think hard enough, Tom probably owes me money.
  5. What an awesome gig! First time I've seen Biffy Clyro, and they sound amazing live. I left a couple of songs before the end, because the person I was with was feeling really ill, but I was told 27 wasn't on the setlist or something...so I was pissed when I heard I'd missed it, as it's my favourite song. Reuben really impressed me, and I was in the back room throughout the Boxer Rebellion, but they didn't sound that good anyway from where I was sitting anyway. Crowd participation was great...probably one of the best gig atmospheres I've ever experienced...the cutest thing ever was probably seeing Lesley singing along to EVERY single song and crazily dancing! Got two lovely t-shirts, and had a superb time. Great gig
  6. Haha, I watched that with Shaun, and he was wearing a Thursday t-shirt that was basically identical to Charlie's. I'll definitely come along to this gig, and try and rape Charlie.
  7. I'd say Michael Jackson. I was also pretty surprised with their automatic entries...I mean, Bob Marley? And where's Bob Dylan?
  8. I really insulted this girl last week...I was asking who people were taking to the Dance, and she said this boy who is a fucking cock, so I shouted really loudly "WHY?! WHY DON'T YOU JUST FUCKING SHOOT HIM?!"...and it turned out she was going out with him, and got really pissed off.
  9. At the moment, it would be... Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism The Killers - Hot Fuss Pretty Girls Make Graves - The New Romance Something Corporate - ready break
  10. Oh no...it's a Monday. Damn.
  11. ...isn't the 24th a Saturday?
  12. I've never really understood the whole Man Who Tried To Sell Your House obsession...I don't particularly think it's their best song. But I like it when there's the bass bit in the middle, and JJ says something (on the album thing, this is), that sounds as if it would be amusing...but probably wasn't. Which reminds me, whoever it was (Tom? JJ?) should do the "way!" bit at the end of The Clinic. Because that is just too hardcore for words. x
  13. Because it was only six o' clock and we couldn't be bothered waiting for four hours. x
  14. "So, what have you been up to?". On what time scale are you talking about? In the past hour? Week? Month? Year? SINCE THE DAY I WAS BORN?!
  15. I sweated like a pig, and was proud.
  16. Taking Back Sunday + Glasgow Carling Academy + Me = Orgasm.
  17. I was there, but I left.
  18. Yus yus, a good gig. McQueen were great, I'll make sure to get their EP when it's out...and it's true, they are all really hot. *jealous* Yeah, wasn't that keen on No Hope in New Jersey, but wasn't really listening to them anyway. The Holiday Plan were great, I thought they were really good live Had lots of fun smiling with Keira during the songs on their EPs...disappointed that they didn't play my faovurite song but they were very amusing with their crazy little dances during songs. Agree with Crocker, pity about the turn up...pretty sure all three of the bands commented on it.
  19. It's on Victoria Street...that road that goes down to Grassmarket from a road named Somethingorother Bridge...that runs adjacent to the Mile.
