I saw Dr. Gillian McKeith from 'you are what you eat' at Edinburgh airport.
Now that I think of it, a good indication of a crap celeb is when you feel you have to explain why they are famous

Hi everyone
I have recently upgraded to a new alto sax so I have my old one to sell. It comes with a bag, crook and mouthpiece. I probably have some reeds I can throw in too.
It doesn't have a name on it, it just has an imprint of 'foreign' on it. I did a bit of research online, and I think that this was done to imported brass instruments during the 1960s.
This saxophone has been well gigged, I have had no problems with any of it. It could probably do with a service to tighten up the mechanisms a wee bit, but it is in playable condition as is.
I would say that this is a good beginner's sax; it's quite old so has a decent tone, but the intonation isn't great.

I like making chocolate brownies:
200g plain chocolate
200g butter/marg
50g caster sugar
3 eggs
a handful of mini marshmallows
80g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
boil some water in a pan, put a bowl over the top and melt the plain chocolate and butter together.
In another bowl, whisk the 3 eggs with the caster sugar. Try to use an electric whisk, the sugar and eggs should turn a pale yellow colour and should increase quite a bit in volume.
Slowly add the chocolate/butter mixture to the whisked eggs, a wee bit at a time. Then add the flour and cocoa powder. The mixture will seem very dry at first, but keep going it will turn out nice. Mix in some marshmallows and that's you.
Put the mixture into a buttered tray and bake for 20 minutes at about 170c.

We have a gig supporting Bad Manners in Moshulu tomorrow night.

Why do people insist on booking Vesuvian? Not to put too fine a point on it, but I really don't like them.
-
How about aka ska? Not that I'm biased or anything...

.. in my spare room, so I have no overheads. 10 per hour, lessons given on an informal and ad-hoc basis. I can also come along to a band practice and give advice to a group for the same rate.
Cheers

great gig, I loved the support acts too they were quality.
-
I just offered you a gig, you bastards

To be honest I think there was a lot of time faffing about with no music playing, I think you were setting up the DJ things or something. Still, not ideal to there to be no music. Loved the night though, it was great to see so many different things going on.

How about the old guy that used to reside outside Gilcomston church? I haven't seen him there for a while.

I have done this before, I used Sony Sonicstage to upload the minidisc files then turned them to WAV files, then converted them to mp3 and burned a CD. Does that help?

yeah, pretty sure that most if not all countries in south america speak a dialect of spanish. Sorry, don't know anyone who speaks spanish. I do know the essentials though: "dos cervesa por favor signor"

A few people have contacted me about singing lessons. I don't have time to start my singing practice again, but I can give people random lessons on an ad-hoc basis. PM me if you are interested.
