  1. i was on an underground train in hamburg, hoping to get back to hotel one night... bad move, i was almost off the map, was told to get off at next stop and get train going in opposite direction, oh and i was slightly drunk but should've realised that a double decker train wouldn't just be doing the local routes...

  2. nah nae sure aboot fitba yet, might be too cold anyway!

KLM flights are prob best bet but nae cheap, looking like 300 squid, not far off what most folk paid anyway.

other routes via london now not looking too good either...

direct from where ever you are may be the way forward!

  3. yeah it's tallinn next weekend, we've always said that it'll be a good idea to be a stealth stag party, the stags used to do what they wanted over there (maybe when they were just happy for business) but now as you say the police and some bars aren't loving it. maybe dress up the stag during the day once but try to act like a normal group of 9 guys going out getting hammered... well we'll see!

  4. anyone care to divulge any information or experiences from visiting Tallinn?

we are hoping to go see FC Flora, anyone been to a match over there?

apart from that it'll be maybe visiting a couple of sights then concentrating on booze, women, food and Depeche Mode Bar! (in some kind of rotating order)

  5. I don't get it, why would they miss out a word like Tribute for the gig?

or even more sensible Roger Dean plays Johnny Cash's music?!

Johnny Cash tickets, concerts and tour dates. Official Ticketmaster site.

SINCE APPEARING ON BBC TELEVISION AT THE AGE OF 14 SINGING THE TENNESSEE FLAT TOP BOX ROGER DEAN HAS BEEN PLAYING CASHS MUSIC MOST OF HIS LIFE. WITH HIS BAND THE LAZY BOYS HE WILL KEEP YOU SPELLBOUND WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE COUNTRY MUSIC LEGEND. BETWEEN SINGING CLASSIC NUMBERS SUCH AS BIG RIVER, RING OF FIRE, I WALK THE LINE, SUNDAY MORNING COMING DOWN AND HURT, DEAN DESCRIBES JOHNNYS RISE FROM POVERTY STRICKEN BEGINNINGS IN RURAL ARKANSAS TO WORLD STARDOM.

suppose it's one way to drum up advertisement but a bit dodgy if you ask me.

  7. Being fans of the Vangelis film score' date=' 'Blade Runner', we always wanted to write an imaginary song for the closing credits on Ridley Scott's classic... It's called Jetstream...[/quote']

    free download from their website

    Doves

just listening to it in whole for first time now...

  8. I think that is the actual, official 'B-list' they talk of.

    did you just copy/paste?

    I wish I did!

I think I wasted about 15mins of my life with that list, but it's a keeper for the future!

Worst thing is there must be loads I've missed off the list too!!!

I'm not sure trawled through the darkest depths either, like other "celeb" BB fallen stars, barrymore, the folk that were in Extras BB take-off, Barry from Eastenders, Dean Gaffney, okay okay, i better not start up again!

I think I should put this into a Mylo style track!!!

and now i'm on an exclamation point frenzy, oops, still better than a CAPS frenzy i'm sure.

  9. Morrissey's on the show tomorrow. New album...

that's why he'll be on then.

if anyone else was presenting, guests would turn up.

i'm sure john leslie would jump at the chance, or dominik diamond, or anyone from the 3 Scotsport presenters, or grant stot, andy walker, dale winton, colin murray (would give me another reason not to watch - he's so awful on five), john barnes, clive anderson, vernon kay, Patrick Kielty, jimmy hill, anthea turner, zig and zag, darren day, les dennis, jack osborne (would be good?!), heather the weather, chris evans, chris moyles (and the guy who replaced him on awful chat show), richard bacon, kilroy, mick fleetwood, richard arnold, nicky campbell, janet street porter, maureen from drive school program years ago, Claudia Winkleman, Gordon Burns (ex-krypton factor, now does BBC news north west), Paul Ross, Michael Underwood, jayne middlemiss, Keith "cheggers" Chegwin, tpt, ian wright, derek accorah, twats from boy band that do kids tv, the guy that presents History of Scotland, lee westwood, Kaye Adams, Esther Rantzen (she has to make up tv chat shows for adverts now - the shame), Nadia Sawalha, Ben Fogle, Kate Garraway, Simon Amstell (would be better?), mark lamar, terry christian, andy peters, adrian chiles, gary lineker, sue barker, sharon davies, roy walker, carol smilie, Nicki Chapman, ruby wax, sarah greene, gordon the gopher, Jeff Brazier, gaby roslin, chris jarvis, Yvette fielding, andy crane, fiona bruce, jackie bird, melanie sykes, guy that presents that Celeb in Jungle extra program, claire sweeney, fern britton & philip schofield, Jenny Eclair, Vanessa Feltz, Jeremy Kyle, Craig Phillips, Matthew Wright, Trisha, patsy kensit, geez i've went on a bit...

anyway you could probably get a combo of nearly all of them cheaper than Woss himself.

  10. I've still to watch Dexter, caught the first few, but couldn't keep up on TV.

sky+ is the only reason i've been able to start watching a whole series of something, before then it was downloads, borrowing/buying box sets & other "frowned upon" behaviour - such as missing the first episode of something highly rated and therefore watching all the acclaim/awards & series' go by with knowing you are missing out on something but not knowing exactly what, then again it's good to know there's something out there once you catch up on everything, which does happen. so much shite on the tv means it's best to be selective and i'm glad that my hours viewing per week can be allocated to what i actually wanna see...

  11. While my Guitar Gently Weeps

that's the first song that springs to mind for me.

i'd really have to reacquaint myself with all the songs, been a long time and they have a shit load of tunes. to stick to the thread i'll stick down 4 others i can recall...

    don't let me down

    the long and winding road

darn it, i'd really have to listen to them again... been too many years...

  12. i'm always paranoid about the catch up shows that they'll throw in spoiler-like things or something i could have worked out later. but yes by the sounds of my confusion earlier i guess i have no choice. stuff like dexter & prison break are a lot more straight forward. heroes can go off in tangents but not too bad. i'm going to stick to box-sets or if anything Lost-like comes along again I'll record a whole series and then watch it in time for the next series, etc. simple man. one thing at a time!
