Wes Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd is in trouble with police in the States after he was booed off stage at a gig in Toledo, Ohio. According to fans, the band walked off after Wes apparently slurred his way through three songs and proclaimed he was "too f***ed to perform." They came back on a few minutes later but left after one more song. Reports say, Wes came back on stage, shouted at the crowd and continued to perform, making up songs as he went along including one called 'Toledo is Neato' which laid into the people there. After he got a less than positive response from the crowd, he apologised and left the stage. He was greeted backstage by Toledo police who arrested him for disorderly conduct and intoxication. He earned himself another charge after spitting in the police car on the way to the police station. According to fans on their website, Greg and Paul from the band spent a while signing autographs outside the tour bus and Greg said they would perform a free show by way of apology. Wes has now been released on bail and is due to appear in court today (Wednesday). No comment has been made by the band.
