  1. Pet hate... banks. What a shower of cunts.

Get a phone call on Wed saying there is a problem with my account and can I come in and see them today.

Get fucking soaked on the way in. Arrive and get told there is no issue with my account in the slightest and try to sell me house insurance.

Fuck you Lloyds TSB, fuck you right in the face.

I had to go home and change my boxers and everything, dicks.

  2. Same can be said of any Australian team really. The only decent ones are Central Coast and Brisbane. I support Perth Glory (obviously) and watching them play is pretty ace 'cos it's so warm, but they'd struggle to overcome most of the Scottish First Division.

I've been to see Perth Glory a couple of times too. The only redeeming feature is the fact you can drink beer.

  3. The golf was amazing, I was almost greeting when Olazabal lost it. Deary me. Far better than the guffy football (way too much guffy football chat in here of late).

Good win for the Dons on Saturday, should have won it by more I'd say, a wee bit unlucky.

And the poor young lad Fraser is getting hacked to bits every game. Surely just a matter of time before he gets a serious injury.

  4. Is that Duncan Taylor? Check out they're own bottlings. Often have some brilliant stuff at a fraction of the distillery price.

Totally forgot about that place last time I was in Huntly.

Aye, that's the place. Fuck, I better go to the shortbread factory in Huntly too and make a real day out of it now. And the ice-cream place. And the castle. Its like a summer holiday (without the weather).

  5. Was at Glen Garioch last year. It's a good tour. We ended up wasted (it was the second of the day). It probably helped there was a bus load of us (organised by Deeside Drinks so they were expecting to sell stuff) but they seemed pretty generous anyway.

I'll buy a bottle no doubt, they have some nice stuff. I'm more interested in Glen Dronach though. Might pop to the whisky shop in Huntly too, its pretty rammed with all sorts of stuff.

  6. Tonight: Two art openings to pop along too and inevitably some booze.

Saturday: Visiting Glen Dronach and Glen Garioch distilleries, so will end up pished. Will get the bird to drive. More beers in the evening.

Sunday: Go watch the Dons rip Motherwell a new one. Go and play like Darren Mackie at the Sports Village. Go out for beers with all the LADS to celebrate.

Monday: Off work. Boom. May start watching Breaking Bad.

  7. Went to see Dredd 3D last night.

Not much of a plot but quite enjoyed it and reminded me of reading the comics as a youngster. Lots of action and good to see an 18 rated film.

I hope they do a sequel and bring in Judge Death, I guess that depends on takings for this film though...

  8. I heard there's more staff due to leave soon. Doesn't look good. Just can't think what they could do to stay alive in a world where people increasingly don't buy music on a physical format. They can't survive on ticket sales, t-shirts and second hand sales alone.

One-Up were talking about doing online stuff about ten years ago... they probably should have taken the plunge then.

Sadly the internet/supermarkets have killed all these wee independent stores, shame :(

I still buy physical releases all the time, hate downloading music. Although increasingly I'll buy cds online as its a pain to get from work into town during the week.

  9. Not this season, unless it's in celebration of the TOTAL FOOTBALL we have been playing.;)

Haha, hopefully they'll keep it up this Sat (and actually score). I've not managed to go yet, season ticket has been wasted!

  10. If you need to get a hold of some Little Creatures then Deeside Drinks in Banchory usually has it in stock for a couple of quid a bottle (I assume their sister shop in Stoney, Dunnottar Wines, has it as well) . I love it. Great beer.

Aye, I quite often take a drive out your way to Deeside Drinks on a Saturday. Cracking wee shop.

The Dunnottar shop is quality too.... I end up spending a fortune though.

  11. Saturday. Korpse are playing after 16 years off. Going to be fucking amazing.

And if Elgin last week is anything to go by, it's going to be mobbed.

I may well pop in past on Sat Mr Bags. Haven't given you any abuse in quite some time either!
