  1. looks like my team will finally be in action after a lengthy lay off due to the weather. Hope we have recovered from the nightmare of our last match - an embarrassing home defeat by Tamworth. Probably not as away at top of the table Fleetwood who have spent shit loads of money, have shit loads of money - they could afford to turn down one million pound bids for their star striker. I see nothing but a right royal thumping, oh well I'll have opened a bottle of vodka by this point so the pain won't be too bad and it's not like I'm expecting anything else but a miserable defeat.
  2. Hulk is a fantastic name for a footballer!
  3. Yeah they'll probably sneak past the brummies although the championship side are in cracking form at the moment. AVB seems to have lost the dressing room, too many ageing prima donnas at Chelsea, they need someone who can put them in their place!!!
  4. depends on how many Birmingham put past them at the weekend in the cup. Defeat in that game and surely it will be a taxi for AVB...
  5. dunno who to laugh at more - Arsehole or Chelski!
  6. Listening to the post match phone in and the gooner fans are baying for his blood tonight. I think it's a knee jerk reaction to what was an awful performance but also Milan played very well. Wenger is getting criticized for not picking Oxlade-Chamberlain. Of course had he started and played shit then the fans and media would have given him shit for playing such an inexperienced player!!! Sometimes managers just cannot win. I really cannot see who could come in and do a better job than Wenger though he does seem to be losing the plot a bit and the longer he goes without a trophy the more the pressure will be on him.
  7. league form has got a bit sketchy with no win in four but through to the semi final of the league cup having just done Arsenal at home and in the knockout stage of the champions league and a 5 million quid shit hot Argentinian striker signed for when the transfer window opens in a month. No it's not an ageing Carlos Tevez! Squad needs some trimming though, getting players knocking on my office door moaning about a lack of first team football. I just chuck em on the transfer list and be done with it!
  8. Not been playing so much this week but 7 points from my first three champions league games is a good return, should make the Euro League finishing 3rd if nothing else as Zenit have null points at this stage, 2nd in league after 9 games though very early days and just went to Anfield and did the scousers in the league cup. That's the third time on the bounce I've beaten them
  9. I doubt a club as big as Rangers will go bust, even if they did then an AFC Rangers would rise from the ashes but would have to start at the bottom of the ladder.
  10. ha ha ha! Oh yes Fergie is without instrument either!!!!
  11. Woy is a Bez type band member, just bopping away, he certainly looks like he is getting into the beat!
  12. the more I watch that footy supergroup the funnier it gets! Is that Woy Hodgson on the far right?
  13. well I'm sure another Rangers will surface from the mess but a big club has never gone completely under yet... Portsmouth also in the brown stuff (again), I find it depressing football clubs cannot keep their houses in order. Be interesting to see how it unfolds.
  14. yeah and I'm old enough to remember him as the one armed waited in 70's sitcom Robin's Nest. He also played the hapless builder o'Reilly in Fawlty Towers and was in a great film Waking Ned. Brilliant actor.
  15. The Irish actor David Kelly has died, you may not know his name but you'd know his face. http://www.guardian.co.uk/stage/2012/feb/13/david-kelly?newsfeed=true
  16. watching the final of the African Cup Of Nations and it's not often a former Cambridge United manager is in charge of a national team in a major final! Well pretty sure it's never happened before!
  17. If 'arry turns it down when offered it then wonder who the FA will turn to? He's always expressed an interest in the gig, I dunno I think he might do quite well. Could even get to a semi! But in reality he should stick with Spurs.
  18. He had to apologize what else could he do? Jesus H Christ why didnt he just shake Evra's hand in the first bloody place and we could have been spared this nonsense. Oh dear Mick M must be severely under pressure after Wolves were buggered 5-1 by arch rivals West Brom. There's not been nearly enough managerial sackings this season, we want more!
  19. It's a fantastic achievement that Spurs are ten points clear of Chelsea and Arsenal, it would take an almighty fuck up to throw that away with or without 'Arry. He's done impressive work at Spurs but I hope he takes the England job if offered it, I agree with what Hansen said on MOTD last night 'he's the only man for the job'. Really pissed off with Suarez and Dalglish, this race row thingy is gonna rumble on and on...
  20. Spurs are genuine title contenders this season and if 'Arry leaves there will be no shortage of takers for the gig. They were awesome against Newcastle and the football was breathtaking at times. I would love to see them pip the Manchester clubs but still think they will probably fall just short.
  21. I bet the FA are disappointed Pardew has ruled himself out the England job - what arrogance. I wish Dalglish would shut up, silly mumbling little man. Claims he 'didnt see' the Suarez/Evra incident, how convenient!!! There really was no need for Suarez to do that now all the talk is focused on that and not the football. I do actually agree with Sir Purple Face, Suarez is a disgrace.
  22. wasn't surprised at the demise of Houston but never even contemplated sticking her on the list.
  23. I dream of my team putting 5 past such a huge team as St Johnstone... enjoy!
