Hmm...I have a feeling that it might be related to your Trojan Horse problems elsewhere - have you tried going through the link I posted on the other thread?

It *may* be something to do with a virus screwing up your network settings locally, but I'm not savvy enough to know just what to fix. It's more than likely a local problem rather than a network problem, especially if you're on a mainstream ISP.

Those long, bendy buses. I don't see how they are more of a convenience over a double decker. The latter even seats more people so why did they opt for the bendy bus?. Especially in a city centre, I don't see how something that big is a better option for busy city traffic and then weaving through suburban areas.

They're the only option if you want to buy new buses, because of the various disability acts.

The various disabled badge regs are a nightmare TBH. Never mind that they have had a major overhaul at national and local level in the last few years. I defy anyone to get them all right all the time and although the legislation puts the onus on authorities to use a degree of sensitivy, discretion and plain old common sense, many don't.

And yet very few/if any checks are actually done on the usage of the badges.

I can also tell you for a categorical fact that you can get a blue badge from Poland (they're valid EU-wide) as long as a doctor confirms your disability. Given the widespread corruption in the NFZ (equal of the NHS) - it really isn't difficult to get hold of one if you're so inclined.
