Lateness?! Be finished before 12. Since when is this late for a gig.
Man up fellas. You'll enjoy. Just don't get pished! win win!
-
This gig is also for anyone in a band that puts a haircut alongside buying strings for their guitar...
-
Sounds like the Bonnevilles and Thee Phantom Herd are having a ball elsewhere...
-
I can't believe I just used the word "natch". Twice.
I am an absolute fuckhole.
tsk tsk!
-
Puff's are welcome though. No discrimination here like...
-
First band takes to the stage at 9.30pm!
-
What's the start / end time of these Snafu gigs? I'd quite like to come along but 1am or whatever is a fucking late night for a Monday.
Gig night kick off is 9pm
first band 9.30
last band finished before 12 and then on with the club night.

Bonnevilles hitting up the shores of Scotland and fetching Thee Phantom Herd on their way through...
Not the most recent of footage but simply a flavour sprinkle

MAG on PS3! This game reads, and should be fantastic, but so far I find it an annoying pain the ass. Looks terrific but you spend most of the time running from the spawn point toward the action, getting shot, running toward action from spawn point and repeat.
Disappointing so far.
I will add that it is my loons game and he seems to be enjoying it. He is a kid and therefore much better at gaming than me..

This gig is also a must see for all the indie rock n roll chaps across the scene. Fat bluesy rock n roll!
-
I will add that The Bonnevilles are the main attraction. We just happen to be ace as well!
Oh and its 4

The regulars on this forum should do a USA for Africa type charity single for it.
:laughing::laughing:

Apologies for typos in previous post. o_O

Just over a week and counting!
Time to kick this post back rather than write a new one.
Fans of the bands below and bands others like them should attend without question!
Black Keys
White Stripes
Blues Explosion
The Stooges
Howlin' Wolf
The Cramps
Link Wray
Motorhead
Black Sabbath
The Dead Weather
This a Bonnevilles and The Phantom Herd split single release tour.
I'm enjoying dabbling in promoting again...

Me thinks I will write something scathing for this. Darn, I've raised the bar and have now doomed myself to fail miserably.

some good advice on here and not coming from a cynical point of view either.
Best listen to be honest

As they say Jim, one man's meat....not everyone's a fan of blues rock either, and all blues is good blues if it is played well. It would be a bad place if we all liked the same thing. I like all types, but it has to bear a passing resemblance to blues instead of just a band being a vehicle for a demon guitar or harp player. I can take a good twenty minutes of that before me eyes glaze over, LOL.
Anyhow, to business. The Cellar 35 opening night has been put back until the first Saturday of March due to Son Henry being out of tune a little. His recent op to have a pair of P 90s and a pre-amp or whatever fitted has left us short of a brilliant Alaskan guitarist, so we're waiting until he's in better shape 'cos we can't manage without him. I'll keep you posted.
Indeed Sir. I'm an old punk at heart so I like it a bit rough.
Are you familiar with 'Not The Same Old Blues Crap' label promoter in London. He takes a fine selection of old Blues dudes over from the states now and again. Worth checking out and don't let the name put you off. Wide selection for all tastes, more or less.

Two?!!!!!! When the fuck did that happen. The following week will also prove to be a night of fine music and this should be punted to all that like there music brash, bashin and nasty!
Oh and Bri, can you change the poster on you Myspazz to the Bonnevilles one. Ta
-
To be fair, I don' t actually do that...about everything else maybe but not that.
haha.
I did say 'good' blues. The very word 'blues' can send shivers of dread down my spine and bring me out in hives but the racket n roll versions we are bringing up here get my vote
-
I again recommend the 15th of Feb as stated in previous post for your diaries. This is a little shameless plugging but we all moan about the lack good Blues etc and these guys fair kick out the more garage nasty end of the spectrum.
