Iron Maiden - Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter 3. Michael Jackson - Billie Jean 4. Madonna - Like a Prayer 5. Madonna - Vogue 6. Elvis Presley - Jailhouse Rock 7. Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger 8. Abba - Dancing Queen 9. Mariah Carey - Without You 10. John Lennon - Imagine 11. The Beatles - Hey Jude 12. Will Young - Leave Right Now 13. Queen was the most voted for artist overall, but this was mainly due to votes for Bohemian Rhapsody. Their two other Number 1s (Innuendo & Under Pressure) only received a small amount of votes each. Madonna was the most voted for female artist with Like a Prayer at number 4, Vogue at number 5 and Music at number 21, as well as seven other songs receiving votes. Michael Jackson was the most voted for male artist in the list with Billie Jean at number 3. The most recent song in the top 20 was Busted - Thunderbirds / 3am from August 2004. Iron Maiden number 2 - cool.
  2. I think it highlights more how I have none cos I'm almost certain everyone else knew what you were talking about. Pop is my hardcore
  3. THANK YOU! Someone in touch with their music bone at last! I wouldn't be suprised if the rappy one doesn't turn on something Neptune orientated...and that would ROCK.
  4. It's OK, they're gonna be releasing a 'Best Of' album, that'll be worth the money if you haven't their two albums... Verbalicous - the new Mis-teeq for me, ROCK!

  9. There's a girl in the box office that sounds excited about this gig, she's hoping for the night off for it in fact, and was amazed when I said I was coming up from Edinburgh for it! It will be worth it, I hope a lot of people are gonna go...
  10. Yes, that was the bit that rib-tickled me the most. Initially I was like, 'who the fuck is that pulling a face and chewing gum?!' cos she must have had a wig on or something, and then she opened her mouth... ALTHOUGH! There was a moments silence before she said anything so you didn't hear the interviewers question, maybe she was actually being asked if she liked the colour-scheme the Pres was proposing for the White House - 'yeah, I'm totally trust him, he's the President!'
  11. Oh yeah and one other thing - the solilders listened to Drowning Pool and Bloodhound Gang(and I heard BHG were anti-Bush btw) in their tanks, that speaks volumes. Oh and the Britney bit, that was hilarious!!!!!
  12. And also, the South Park boys - one of them was in Bowling For Colmbine, rather change of direction for him isn't it...?
  13. I got well bored of it but it might have been that I'd had a really shit day yesterday and was half way through a bottle of wine. There also seemed to be ad breaks every five minutes which pissed me off. As for the film, the plot was thin, the characters weren't properly introduced or developed and the special effects looked like they were patched together on a Speccy or something. Seriously, I did get bored of it about half way through but what I did watch, I watched with a pinch of salt after hearing everything about it. There are some very irifutible(SP?!) facts that you can't say were patched together to make it look better for Moore - the buiness links with Bin Laden, the guy that he was in the air force with, the fact that for the first 8 months of office Bush was on vacation for 42% of the time, the guy that couldn't beat a dead guy to become a governer but was put in a very powerful job well above governer status who went on to ignore the security report the week before 9/11 and the number one for me, when Bush was told about the attacks but still went to the school and then sat there for 7 minutes after being told about the second plane crash before he actually did anything!!!! Yes it might be presented in the best light for Moore but there must be something there to make light of.
  14. I have a complaint. Having just got my copy of the CD off Mart Fudge, we were browsing the liner notes to see the Fudge is taking the 'credit' for writing the lyrics for Enter Santa whereas I think you'll find it was acually WBL that wrote those lyrics in my car on the way to a gig we were playing Sheffield in October 2002. So there. Also, I'd asked that twat Bri to add this line next to the pisscranes track: Produced by Mark Nicol, extra special thanks to Scott Contra.
  15. I went to the Music Hall gig she didn't about 4 years ago, was no bad if you like a room full of dykes. I'd come up and see her in Moshulu, that would be well interesting.
  16. I THOUGHT I heard on Radio 1 this morning that they were playing Hampden Park along with a heap of other stadiums around the same time but I cannot find any online confirmation of that...
  17. I shall be sitting. I hadn't intended to but am actually thankful - I generally stand at the back anyway and complain I cannae see:P I sat for Foo's a couple of years ago and it was cool. Yes, I'm old...
  18. Does anyone know who it is yet? Or am I just behind in the times....?
  19. Thank you, thank you - I'd like to thank my manager, my agent, God, my fans...
  20. Is there still tickets for this, does anyone know...?
  21. Milton Keynes: Satans Lay-by
  22. That's exactly what I meant - lad culture. Kinda. Young people in particular emulate their idols. They see the Gallaghers getting away with what they get away with and go and do it themselves. What does this mean? You get a good few million youths drinking their brains out, being obnoxious and generally wrecking the place thinking 'if they can get away with it, so can I.' No direct link is generally made by the media and/or the public however but I think when you put your mind to it, I think you'd agree there is some element in truth in that. It's probably not as prevalent now as when Oasis were at their most popular and whatnot but it still applies.
