  1. i've heard good things about them. sounds interesting, shall have to investigate.
  2. yeah, i like capdown. they gotta come back!
  3. he reminds me of ryan adams a litte. i don't know why. but it's all good (y)
  4. i know. ok so this is the only time you will get an apology out of me; I am sorry. no he isn't!
  5. my friend is auditioning for big brother this year. just though i'd mention that. to be honest, reality tv amuses me. but then i guess that's just me. in relation to the question.. i think the nation just feels sorry for them. aha.
  6. yeah i would. actually, i have gone on my own to gigs before. it's not so bad (i do tend do whinge about it a lot, don't i?) still.. exams.. and i like 'em.. but i dont think i'd pay 15 or so to see them.
  7. i used to love the charlatans. aww. i'm tempted to go but it's in the middle of my exams, no one likes my music and i dont like them enough to pay about 15 to go and see them. erk.
  8. i'm not allowed another party after the sophie-and-scott-in-my-bath-with-a-bottle-of-3-year-old-bells incident (and paul being sick all down the path). also, they're buliding yet ANOTHER part on to the house (my parents seem to have an obsession with buliding new bits on to the house) and are redocerating. pah. the party did turn into an emo fest towards the end though? bah. ah well. me and sarah can burn things anytime though.. one day.. we might be able to do ALL the candle holders in the illict still. ha fucking ha.
  9. except the difference was, i liked/knew them! dont know if the same can be said about everyone else though! that party will go down in history, yes?
  10. Inside of Love-Nada Surf Watching terrible tv, it kills all thought Getting spacier than, an astronaut Making out with people, I hardly know or like I cant believe what I do, late at night I wanna know what its like On the inside of love Im standing at the gates I see the beauty above Only when we get to see, the aerial view Will the patterns show, well know what to do I know the last page so well, I cant read the first So I just dont start, its getting worse I wanna know what its like On the inside of love Im standing at the gates I see the beauty above I wanna know what its like On the inside of love I cant find my way in I try again and again Im on the outside of love Always under or above I can't find my way in I try again and again I'm on the outside of love Always under or above Must be a different view To be a me with a you I wanna know what its like On the inside of love I'm standing at the gates I see the beauty above I wanna know what its like On the inside of love Of course ill be alright I just had a bad night I had a bad night
  11. same here i keep missing biffy cos no one will go with me
  12. no way! the early stuff is the best though! particularly the b-sides and unreleased tracks. true enough, there are some noticeable radiohead influences in muse's music (especially on showbiz.. well.. just on showbiz really..) but other than that, i really cannot see where people get the comparisons from! radiohead were doing something different from everyone else and to be honest, i think jonny greenwood is a far better guitarist than matt bellamy (bearing in mind, i don't actually play guitar, so know very little about this area). don't get me wrong, i love muse, they're brilliant, and origin os symmetry was what really got me into them, but comparing radiohead to them just isn't.. right!
  13. wouldn't that mean that biffy were just touring til the 8th (the 8th being the last night), and the aberdeen date is on the 9th, meaning they wouldnt.. oh i dont know!
  14. 1. killer cars 2. you 3. karma police 4. simple guy 5. fake plastic trees 6. knives out 7. the national anthem 8. inside my head 9. 2+2=5 10. true love waits 11. just 12. bullet proof 13. sulk 14. idioteque 15. morning bell currently.. anyway..
  15. *graveltrap didn't quite compare, i mean
  16. i thought they were quite good live (particularly when i saw them last may), but when you compared them with spunge and the other band, never heard of it, who played at kef on thursday, they didn't quite compare. they're still quite good, though
  17. meeeeee.. except the last bus back for me is 10.30 so i'm probably going to miss most of/all them .. especially if it's the lemon tree
  18. right in the middle of my exams, the glasgow date.. might manage the london date though..
  19. i think it's good that they're finally getting the recognition they deserve. some of the places they played on their last tour were quite 'obscure' (or places most bands wouldn't consider/be bothered going to). they're also really nice people, which is always a good thing.. but i'm glad people are finally starting to notice them!
  20. there weren't more than about 50-ish people. mind you, it was over a year ago wasnt it? i suppose for a little band it was quite good, but easyworld have got really uite popular over the last couple of months.
  21. i dunno.. i didnt have enoujgh money to get a ticket yesterday for you.. but please come with me.. nobody turned up for easyworld last time..
  22. i love franz ferdinand! i got their album for my birthday and it hasn't been out of my cd player since hehe. they're just so great!
