Yeah, seeing as both EPs are now unavailable I don't really mind folk sharing them as MP3s... although the less people that hear 'Like Disco Never Happened' the better
Although anyone who was a particular fan of that EP may want to get their baws down to the moorings tomorrow
-
I have no problem with people ripping it. And I really think it's a good thing if a couple of tracks are shared... I put 'Exile' on emule, and a couple of tracks from the album. Got to be a good thing to get heard in as many places as possible... It's just the entire album being there that bothers me slightly. Feel free to share Broken Alive and All We Are if you like.
And yes, if I had as much cash as Arse Ulrich I wouldn't be worried about this.

on P2P? Apparently it's on a certain P2P network... interesting. In some ways it's good, as it gets the music out there, but I'd ask anyone who likes it to buy it from the fathippyrecords website http://www.fathippyrecords.co.uk/FHSproduc...sp?pid=FH25BACD
We are a small band, and we never have any cash!
Nice to think someone thought it'd be worth their time to rip the whole album though...

Moorings this Saturday! There's a thread about it down there with 'fudge' in the title
-
we obviously need joe
That's pure heartwarming stuff
-
Yup, that's the one... still, no more!
-
Seriously?! I'm 23!! I do think I look younger now though
Aye, it's going to be weird on stage, but I'm sure I'll get used to it... and no more swallowing my own hair mid-song (which happened every gig more or less!)
-
Christ, news travels fast... I only did it last night!
Dudes, I'm afraid the time was right, I was headed fast for a Townsend-style skullet
But it's okay, metal lies in the soul and shall never be vanquished

Happy Birthday Have a rukkus day!!
See what I did, I used noun as an adjective! Truly crazy...

So did i' date=' when/where did this happen?[/quote']
It happened during Chasing Ghosts, Rass with his wireless and me with mine ran all the way to the back of Moshulu, then turned around but on the way back his feet confused and he did a forward roll sort of thing... he was up and back to the stage in a flash, but it put all his tuning to buggery Which was why he pinched Dan's guitar for the middle bit, and why he wasn't on stage for the start of Ashes of the End as he was retuning frantically offstage

Black Atom were amazing last night' date=' I had a great night, well worth coming from Glasgow for. Joe was mental! And Rass, Erskine, Mac, Dan and Len were great too.
Defintely wanna see 'em again![/quote']
You?! Here? Now?
Hooray!
I had such an ace time at that gig, the crowd was amazing! Thanks all for coming and making it one my very favourite gigs ever I was a bit nervous actually, which doesn't happen often... hence I bummed-up a couple of the words in The Tie That Binds... but not too badly, and ach, shit happens. There were a couple of minor mishaps but all in all the gig was awesome... I've got the minidisc on now, and the crowd singing Fallen makes me feel all funny
With a bit of luck we'll get to do this again sometime. We love you people!
-
Cheers guys! We had a great time, and while there may have been numerous points where things did not go according to plan (see 'Rass falling over' or 'Mac's amp failing him at the crucial moment') we had an amazing time... the crowd reaction was just brilliant, we are very lucky to have fans like you lot! It was great to get a longer set than usual (although still not long enough to play all the songs we wanted to! ) and hopefully there will be a similar gig at some point in the future. Who knows, we might even have some new songs for you by then given that we have finally played every song from the album live...
Thanks again for making it a great night for us

friday night - work

my life sucks
You won't be making our gig then? You shall be sorely missed sir. And I've bought a special hat too, I know how you just love special hats

Just a last heads up in case any metal fans are reading the forum with nowt to do tonight and a spare fiver. Doors are in 40 minutes!
-
Now and again I do an Atomesque solo' date=' its fun but sometimes people take it out of context, thus the " Hog, you hate Atom" thingy. Its fun, life is a parody! Suprisingly I like Atom![/quote']
Then come to our gig tonight
What 'out-of-context' stuff appears on your DVD then?
-
Dare I ask why not? Be you dissing your harmony-loving solo-shredding wanky-widdling prog-powering clunk-bassing brothers?
Well, we've written a song called 'Hog is gay', so there.
Well, actually we haven't, but we could.
Well, actually to be honest we probably won't.
Well... well.

what happened to MOTH?
and if you link me to your forum I'll cry because that requires effort.
Unfortunately they've had to cancel their gigs just at the moment due to one of the members having ungetoutableof work commitments A mighty shame, but Blessed are tight as fuck (and after all, they are a Brian Blessed tribute band!)

Tomorrow (Sunday) at Moshulu:

Tickets a fiver from the bands or the bassment, maybe a little more on the door.
We have a nice long set :-) I know there is a thread on this in our forum but I know many people don't venture there. The other bands are teh r0xx0r!!!111 Seriously, we'd appreciate it if you came along.
Cheers!

Queensryche - Hostage

I broke my foot at Lava right at the very end of our set about 2 and a half years ago... Our crash endings used to go on forever, I remember sitting on stage screaming in agony and the ending just went on forever... Erskine carried me out after the gig. Missed my last week of work and my first week of university with my foot in a soft cast. Not only embarrassing but also very rubbish indeed. Twat.

Went to see it today with high hopes' date=' I was entertained for the duration, but overall I was very disappointed. Batman looked like shit, Katie Holmes' character was pointless, the only great character was Liam Neeson's, he was perfect. It felt like half of the dialog was written with idiots in mind. How many times did the guy in Wayne Towers have to repeat his point? He was hilariously bad.
I won't mention too much for those that haven't seen it, but there was so much pointless and unexplainable shit. Plus, have they forgotten how the Joker came to be?
Worth seeing for a few hours of entertainment, but don't go in expecting the world. [/quote']
Thank God soemone agrees with me... everyone seems to love it, but I thought the script was totally lame and his 'Batman' voice was so utterly lame it was annoying! Nowhere near as good as Spiderman. Not the worst movie ever, but certainly not as good as it could have been...
Everyone else I've spoken to thought it was utterly amazing, and I just don't understand why!
Who put our album...

No worries dude, like I say, if you want to leave Broken Alive and All We Are then it's all good. I'm pro-downloading in some ways as it gets exposure, but leave them something to buy the album for
