Hurrah!
-
The worst local band I have seen were the Diaretics (sp?)... we had the misfortune to play a gig with them a year or so ago, and Jesus Christ... o_O Fair enough, I see a lot of bands who aren't playing music which I like, but I can still appreciate them as being good at what they do, but they were just plain shit.

Glad to see we're so popular
-
I think that people should be happy with who they are
Even if they are Peter Stringfellow or Michael Bolton?
-
ESPECIALLY if its falling out at the front and you start to look like Devin Townsend! hehe
But surely you don't condone people going about looking like Peter Stringfellow or Michael Bolton?! Isn't it better to have a tad of self-respect and just cut it off when it goes at the front? Erm... hypothetically of course...
-
if any member of black atom shaved their head i would cry' date=' i really would.
i agree that no one should cut their hair, long hair is just ace[/quote']
Even if it's falling out at the front and you start to look a bit like Devin Townsend?

Sounds good as long as you promise me you'll play some Megadeth. Preferably Hangar 18. But I'm not in charge so don't take my word for it.
-
And I am indeed 12!
-
It was ace. Do people do this in Aberdeen? I'd be well up for giving it a go
-
As long as you don't play any Manowar then I'm for it
-
Happy new year!! Hope everyone partied as hard as me Which, really, has been quite hard over this festive period
-
hehehe
Quiet you!
-
Santa stole them and used them to make a big massive sack for everybody's presents! Old bastard.

Points towards Daniel Johnston for evidence of home-recorded genius.
My brother?!
Oh, you mean the other Daniel Johnston. My one's better.
-
I got yer text Bob, but I've nae done nowt... Did you really mean the Lemon Tree gig by the way, I thought I'd already done that one? I've got so many of your gigs kicking around that I can't tell what's what... the curse of never labelling anything... I know I defintiely have both of your hi-on Maiden support slots through the soundboard, I'll try and chuck them together on a cd over the holidays.

In this time of festive joy I'd just like to wish all atom fans a very metal Christmas You all rock, come and see us next year when we actually sort some gigs out
-
Boo hiss!
-
I'm with Erskine on this one.
-
Alas, I have much to do for a presentation tomorrow and an entire novel to read by 9AM (unlikely that I'll manage to be honest). But the best of Jolly Old British luck what!
-
It's giving up... it randomly turns itself off while it's recording which is pretty fucking annoying. And if you move it to check that it's still on then you seem to get skips in the recording And the mic is a stereo mic but only half of it seems to work now. My Therapy recording came out with the very start in stereo, then a big crackle on one channel then only on the left for the rest of the recording... So methinks I need new gear. Still, given the number of recordings it has done it's been well worth the money
-
I got mine ages ago. Which doesn't make it any less exciting! Methinks I need some new bootlegging equipment

Has anyone heard anything about this at all on UK TV or radio? I haven't. If it was Fran from Travis or one of Busted I bet you it would have been all over the news.
Bastards.

AHEM! sorry to shoot you all down here' date=' but we've played the whole of Ghosts twice.
We played the full version the first time we ever played it, at drakes i think it was, then like you all said at the Exile launch. [/quote']
That post inspired me to go away and rummage through my minidiscs... I found the gig in question, and we did indeed play the whole thing... it felt like I was listening to an important piece of history My singing on the quiet bit was utterly balls, the exile launch was definitely the definiteive version.
At that gig we also played a bunch of songs which no-one here will remember except the band, The One, Nothing, Put Me Out, Drop Your Hate and Loathe. Very strange hearing those songs again, I couldn't even remember how half of them went
I also listened to our radio performance with G-Dove on drums (bloody hell, we sounded ace!!) and various demos... man, the original demo of Empty Sky was totally different from the final version! I also listened to bits of last year's 12 man insanity gig, and the time we covered Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter a couple of Halloweens ago, and I smiled a lot

This is some of the worst news ever. I'm utterly sickened.
May he be forever remembered as a true metal legend.
