  1. From this... to this... in one year!! Relegation was worth it for the amazing season we had last year. =
  2. Girlfriend gets free tickets to every Dons game, so since I've got nowt on the night I'm going to head along. First Dons game I've seen since that awful match v. Hearts (1-0 loss with the Icelandic boy scoring an overhead kick). Apparently they've got worse since!? In Caley news... JOHNNY HAYES HAS SIGNED FOR 2 YEARS!!! Turning down a few concrete offers from Championship clubs!?!?!? What a gent. He will tear the SPL apart. 2 NEW SIGNINGS ANNOUNCED | ICT News | ICT News | News | Inverness Caledonian Thistle
  3. If it is a nice day i've always found a scenic walk is a good icebreaker. Duthie Park, followed by a drink in a decent cafe near Queens Road?
  4. Saigon is fantastic... but bring a jacket because it's always freezing if you are sat near one of their draughty windows. The music is also incredible. It was like reliving my 1980/90s ice discos all over again!
  5. YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Richie Foran and Lee Cox sign new deals with ICT (2 years!). Fantastic news, especially with the SPL clubs (looking at you McGhee...) sniffing around. Johnny Hayes has said he'll sign a new deal as well to keep the Irish trio (Rooney, Foran, Hayes) together. Esson and Tokely have also said in the press they want to stay on. I couldn't be happier
  6. How'd you get on against Dundee and Raith again...?? Having seen how awful the standard of the SPL has been going these past few years, I am quite confident in my prediction that Hayes will be a revelation next season. His pace and skill is incredible.
  7. ICT's 7-0 highlights, pitch invasion and post match address from Butcher: ICT -TV Number 11 = Johnny Hayes, who scored the first and set up 5 others. He will tear the SPL apart!!
  8. Is it just me that hadn't heard of that rumour involving: - Stevie Gerrard - a 16 (or 15, depending on which story you read) year old girl becoming pregnant ...and... - Gerrard's wife Alex - Kris Commons!?!
  9. 18 mins in... My greetin' pus. BBC iPlayer - Reporting Scotland: 22/04/2010
  10. I would've been all over this like a rash, but i'm going to be in Paris for the school's activities week. It is a free holiday mind...
  11. Kyle Lafferty's mum brutally attacked in Glasgow:
  12. Favourite bits of the weekend: 1. The ripples of excitement at ICT stadium when those that had radios announce that Morton have a penalty... cue loads of ''ssssshhh'' from the fans, so everyone can hear whether he scored it. Utter silence in the stadium for a few seconds (nothing new there *chortle*), then delerium as those on their radios punch the air in celebration...causing everyone else to follow suit. You could see the players smiling at eachother when that cheer exploded! 2. Rooney's brilliant lob which seemed to take an age to drop down into the net; everyone was willing that one in. 3. Butcher trying to get Danny Sanchez's attention at the other end of the pitch: "Dan!! Dan!! Dan!! Dan...Dan!! Dan...Dan...Dan...Dan...Dan...DAN!!! Turns out no-one else sat near me knows Alan Partridge, as I was the only one creasing himself with laughter. 4. Mike Fraser (ex-ICT) screws up badly to concede the SPL's 7,000th goal v. Daly, signalling his last involvement in a Motherwell shirt I reckon. He's a McGhee signing, so maybe he'll make the trip up to sign for the Dons in the summer? 5. Arriving at my hotel in Glasgow on Saturday night, ahead of doing yesterday's marathon from Hampden - Loch Lomond, just in time to see John 'cuntsack' Terry get sent off. Brilliant.

So a volcano has vomited 1000s of tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere. Now I don't feel so bad about leaving my TV on standby.
  14. BBC - Tom Fordyce: The crying game, and how to survive it Brilliant video, which brought back some horrible memories of last years relegation and 2007's loss to Italy. "To fully appreciate the good times in football, you have to know what the worst feels like" - Ross Paterson interviewed by Radio Scotland on the last day of the 2008/2009 season.
  15. Northern Chipper on Great Northern Road. Lovely
  16. . <<<---------------- Kiss. of. death.
  17. My dad still wears that scarf to every Dons game he goes to
  18. Heading up to Inverness on Saturday with 6 Dons fans, who are looking for an escape from their season... With Munro and Cox suspended I reckon we'll struggle
  19. Thank christ ICT are more consistent than my darts tonight!! Trains/buses booked for the games v. Dunfermline (17th April) and Ayr (24th April) on the off chance we win the league on either. Would love for it to be the Ayr game as I can get smashed after (i've got a marathon the day after the Dunfermline game). Not counting any chickens yet, but it is really looking in our favour now
  20. I once saw Ross Tokely square up to Chris Morgan, after a particularly bad challenge from the Sheff Utd player. It was incredible
  21. ICT -TV ICT have finally got round to using a free highlights service, similar to the likes of Raith etc. Foran's goal is less spectacular than I remember, but the stadium's reaction is even more spectacular than I recall. You can even see my legs run down the steps of the uncovered section of Main Stand when the players run towards the bench Morton tomorrow and I'm seriously thinking of driving down and back the same night...
  22. Getting up at 7am for a train through to Inversneck for our match v. Raith. Going to give this 3D TV thing a go as well, with the Man Utd v. Chelsea game. I take it I can just take my 3D glasses bought when I went to see Avatar?
  23. Only six to go....and another clean sheet... ICT Morton (H) - 1-0 WIN Ross County (A) - 0-0 DRAW Airdrie (H) - 4-0 WIN Partick Th (A) - 0-1 WIN Ross County (H) - 3-0 WIN Raith (H) Morton (A) QoS (A) Dunfermline (H) Ayr (A) Dundee (H)
