Keiji Haino/Fushitsusha

Recommended Posts

yeh' date=' i'll try this again, anyone in to this man, his band/numerous side projects/collaborations etc? I have been for awhile and so far have found no other like-minded souls in the 'deen. So, even if your just curious, post something maybe.

ask some of the male staff members of Fopp, ie Andy, Steve or Murray, ie believe they are well into this area of Japanese improv.

Look out for a major japanese act coming to Aberdeen in june!!!!!!

I've read many reviews of his work, but have yet to hear anything by him.

(I know who's coming in June, but my lips are sealed!!!!)

While you're here belladonnaleaves, there's a whole album of In Gowan Ring demos to download at the 'Unbroken Circle' website.

secrets secrets, i probably won't have the cash to go see whoever it is anyway. But, just for the hell of it, my favourite jap improv/psych etc releases are -

fushitsusha - a death never to be complete

fushitsusha - a little longer thus

fushitsusha - i saw it! that which before i could only sense

keiji haino - affection

ohkami no jikan - mort nuit

shizuka - anything

acid mothers temple - la novia

acid mothers temple - the penultimate galactic bordello

flower travelling band - satori

brast burn - debon

so far anyway.....thanks for the replies

!

*nervous cough*

*quick sideways glance in case anyone is looking*

Ask Chilli!

My faves are Ghost (Masaki Batoh played finger cymbals behind me singing once), and Nagisa Ni Te, but I've seen AMT a couple of times, .....enjoyable, they were, although Cotton Casino has now left.

yes, ghost are one terrible omission i made when i wrote that list, and, out of all their albums, i can't pick out one better than the others, yes they're THAT good, you know it, and masaki batoh's solo outings are equally as spiffing(shoulda known it would be AMT really, duhh)
