Progressive thrash metal?

from the Propagandhi site:

A few years later' date=' we both moved to Winnipeg and we put up a poster at Records on Wheels that read:

"Progressive thrash band looking for bass-player"

(we didn't consider ourselves punk, hardcore or metal ... we were "progressive thrash"... fuckin rights).[/quote']

You listen to a lotta stuff coming out of Punkcore? Have you checked out Defiance?

Defiance toured with The Virus a while back' date=' they're alright from what I remember- not very much heh. And yeah, if anything, Punkcore records bands is what i'll listen too..

I should have really said Cheap Sex though, lead by former Virus frontman Mike Virus, bloody great. You should check out his 'More Than Music...Lunatic rantings by Mike Virus' website, makes for great reads [url']http://www.mikevirus.com/

While I love Defiance, I'm not that big on streetpunk. I do love a lotta the classic 80s outfits - Vice Squad, The Partisans, Violators...

Have you checked out The Swellbellys? They've made it through here a few times. Think The Exploited. What punk shows have you caught here? Just curious.

Jesus, ask me something easy, I'm going by bands that formed in the 90's so:

Rupture (Australia)

Unholy Grave (Japan)

Y (Germany)

Slight Slappers (Japan)

Senseless Apocalypse (Japan)

Rot (Brazil)

Argue Damnation (Japan)

Arse Destroyer (Sweden)

Real Reggae (Japan)

Charles Bronson (U.S.A.)

That was trickier than expected.
