Frosty Jack
"To all those that knew and loved the best drummer that we've all ever known, sadly David Gordon Innes passed away today. His friends and family were all present. The music industry has lost a legend tonight. Rest in peace David, you are going to be sorely missed by us all xxx sleep well."https://www.facebook.com/david.innes.507 Arguably the best drummer Aberdeen have ever seen, Such a sad loss. RIP Dave. Gladstone
Aw man - was that the Gerry Jablonski drummer? He was incredible.Presumably this was an illness - he couldn't have been old?Very sad - RIP.
Frosty Jack
Yes, Gerry's drummer, and a hundred other bands as well. Phenomenal drummer, world class, and a real toff of a guy too, always willing to help anyone out and never without a smile. We played with Gerry's band quite a lot and he never failed to amaze and inspire. Just watching him made me a better drummer. He'd been fighting cancer for the last year or so. A huge loss. Gladstone
I saw him a couple of times but the main one was at New Deer - first time I'd seen them and I was absolutely astounded by his drumming. It was actually ridiculous.Spoke to him at Wizard Festival that year too - seemed like a really nice bloke. What a shame.
