Alan Cynic
I know it's a naff term, but I was wondering if anyone else liked a bit of the stranger end of folk/psych....stuff like PG Six, Meg Baird, Stonebreath, Sharron Kraus etc

Mr Owl PhD
I'd not heard that term, although I suspect I like a few of the acts lumped in with it. I like Sharron Kraus and Meg Baird anyway.
kirkt
I pretty much love everything that fits into this category. I've got an amazing compilation CD called Gather In The Mushrooms: Acid Folk 68-74 I think and it made me want to seek out each band on it further. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover this genre as you can get it for about a fiver.
Palace of Swords
The Hare and the Moon would probably fit into this category, and are definitely worth checking out. They're on the same label as us, actually.http://www.myspace.com/thehareandthemoonDo Circulus count? They were brilliant when they played at the Tunnels in 2006. (There were only about 10 people there, though.)
