kingofdeon
Just to say i got a quote for this last week from Goals and am awaiting feedback from our "sponsors".
Scootray
I'm finding it strange that people ae talking about positions for a 5-a-side game. There's not much room for that in 5-a-side, it's all about getting stuck in, covering every inch of the pitch lads!
Soda Jerk
But then everyones trying to score, then you get caught out at the back, with a wall-bounced through ball. You're eating goals in no time.Need a basic 2-1-
Scootray
You need a basic formation yes, but 11-a-side positions mean nothing in the heat of a 5-a-side.
Soda Jerk
I'd like to think "defensive midfielder" really means "I'm not going past the halfway line because my dribbling is terrible, but I'll tackle the shit out of you" in 5-a-side terms.Definitely a valid 5-a-side position. 8-)

There's not much room for that in 5-a-side, it's all about getting stuck in, covering every inch of the pitch lads! That is untrue. As a seasoned five-asider, I can tell you that without organisation/structure in the way you line-up, you're screwed.1-2-1 diamond formation all the way! You're eating goals in no time.I agree completely. You always need one back. Always.I'm bang up for a game, I'll stay in defence and gauruntee that at some point I'll storm down the wing and bang one home...then sit out for ten minutes.
