offramp
I suppose this is the perfect opportunity to look back on the year and pick out personal highlights. Enjoyed pretty much everything, however...the Ivor Cutler night, Quack Quack, Dan Arborise, Viking Moses, Thee More Shallows, Found, Alela Diane, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Boredoms, Black Affair, Pictish Trail and Adrian Crowley performances stood out for me as special ones (copyright Jose Mourinho)12/01/07 Ivor Cutler Tribute night24/01/07 Jess Klein + Sarah J Tingle + Fiona Keenan06/02/07 Quack Quack + Mickel Mass + The Jannes Van Der Wal Appreciation Society08/02/07 Dan Arborise + Chris Carroll21/02/07 Daedelus + MC Quake and the Seismonauts22/02/07 John Otway + Sergeant Buzfuz11/03/07 The Low Lows + Lorenzo Snow Collective + Music For One29/03/07 Fribo31/03/07 Pit er Pat + Fulborn Teversham + Quack Quack06/04/07 Viking Moses + Khar Leong + Morgan's Orange + George Thomas19/04/07 Kathryn Sawers + Stephen Podlesny22/04/07 Thee More Shallows + The Aphrodisiacs28/04/07 65daysofstatic + Kling Klang + Paper Cut Out11/05/07 Aberfeldy + Finniston + Sandy Wright19/05/07 Thomas Truax + Paul Vickers and The Leg + The Aphrodisiacs30/05/07 Sandro Perri plays Polmo Polpo + Mantler16/06/07 Christ. + The Jinx + Herzog23/06/07 Found + Gareth S Brown08/08/07 Alela Diane + Simone White + The Kitchen Cynics12/08/07 The Piney Gir Country Roadshow + Blueflint08/09/07 Hugh Cornwell + Le Reno Amps07/10/07 Steve Adey + Early Songs + Steven Milne19/10/07 Francois & The Atlas Mountains + Rozi Plain + Lazy Sheepdog24/10/07 Boredoms + Michael Gira25/10/07 Andy White26/10/07 Mouse Eat Mouse + Commander Keen + Dumb Instrument29/10/07 Thomas Stronen + Herzog03/11/07 Fred Frith + Jasper Leyland10/11/07 Marcia Blaine School For Girls + Black Affair + Erstlaub16/11/07 The Pictish Trail with The Fence Collective + Ziggy Campbell + Jo Foster22/11/07 Damon & Naomi with Michio Kurihara + Picastro + Adrian Crowley05/12/07 Jackie Leven + John Hekert
Graeme
That looks like an impresive list to me....am I allowed to be impressed?Anyway I can't pick a favourite but one thing which will live with me forever is Jackie Leven's story about a lunch with Lady Di. Apparantly she flirted with him in that coy manner with which she was renowned for and the poor lad was so distressed he had to go home and.....er.......have a wank! There, think about that! Graeme
No thank you...I am about to tuck into sausage, mash & beans...the last thing I need invading my brain is that image. It will invade it though. Especially since he assured me it was true. You'd do the same thing yourself surely?

Humey Whilem
It was a good performance by Mr Leven though. Good one! Thanks mr(s) Imps.I for one am chuffed to be at the bottom of that list together with him.A guy once stared into the eyes of one of my dad's (female) friends - husband sat right nex to her. Must have lasted for a good minute. She then plucked up the courage to ask what was up. He then said:"Oh nothing. Just making sure I have a good mental image for when I'm home onanating". I was pretty young at the time so I was not disgusted until after looking that word up in the dictionary. I remember my mum asking:"why that face?"There. I had to share that.
