andrew.
is there such a thing?my problem is that we have Netgear wireless in my house, however due to the thick walls (presumably) I have real trouble connecting to it from my room, which I'm wanting for my PS3. Is there something that can boost the signal at all, and if so how much is it?I've had a wee look online, but nothing is really coming up...any help would be grand. The Kernel Loaf
Are you sure that it is a wifi issue? Your router may not be compatible with the PS3.

Also, try and make sure that there are no objects between the PS3 and router that may cause interference, i.e. microwaves, various electrical products etc. Finally, if worst comes to worst, buy an ethernet cable. Although having a huge cable is a pain in the arse, it will be a lot more reliable than a wireless connection.

Edgar Graham
There are more powerful routers available now, have a look at pcworld.co.uk. They're about 100 I think.

WoodyRATM
This could work, i've never used one. But a mate i went to college with uses this kinda thing.Netgear XE102 Powerline Ethernet BridgeEDIT: i just realised a review.. "This specific adaptor supports upto a speed of 14mbps." If that makes a huge difference to you. Not as fast as normal ethernet.
Chris#2
Ethernet over Power Adapters are another option (the 200MBps kind - look for Homeplug HD, I think). I had my Xbox 360 connected to them, before I sold it, and they worked really well.
