I may have ruined a classic here

I made a re edit of Donna Summer's classic disco banger I Feel Love last night whilst bored due to lack of internet access.

I have just chopped the tune up and used the more minimal parts for the beginning and the noisy parts for the middle.

Oh and i fucked the vocal up a bit.

Tell me what you think

Well the original's one of the greatest records ever, and I usually take the view that there are some things that shouldn't be messed with, but I'll listen to this with an open mind and post my opinion.

Well, I thought it was badass, different enough to the original to be interesting, but similar enough to be respectful. It's onto my mp3 player (and 320 kbps too!)

Can you do something with Le Freak by Chic next?

Cheers guys

I am working on a couple of other ones but they are of the awkward early electronic style and a bit more of a pain to structure.

yeah i will try my hand at le freak since you were so nice about my first attempt.

Utah Saints were ace, I have their album on my MP3 player. Saw them "live" at the Lemon Tree when I was about 14.

Yeah it was Messiah that did the ravy version of 'I Feel Love'

Utah Saints did the Kate Bush and Eurythmics rip offs.
