Dayeth
I was just wondering if there was any 3D artists, modelers, animators etc. about here. It's something I do quite a bit of as a hobby and for uni but never really came across anyone in my wasted years on these boards that does it too.Thought it would be cool to post renders and stuff.... anyone? Guest b-bert
i do a bit of 3d modeling, but i use cad programmes as opposed to arty stuff, i will try to get a pic up later.edit:this is a model of a guitar i am building in Autodesk Inventor. It is an engineering programme so all the components of the floyd rose have actually been modeled so you can see it work.

Stripey
I've been using Blender (http://www.blender.org) for a few years, it's pretty damn good, considering the price of it. I'm less into modelling and photorealism, and more into using 3d renders in combination with Illustrator and Photoshop for graphic design work, such as this :

skalistair
Pretty cool stuff there. I enjoy messing about with the likes of photoshop and macromedia flash and fancy having a wee go on this 3d malarky. Any suggestions on websites with good tutorials?
