THEY'RE NOT! THEY ARE AWFUL STRINGS!!! Sorry! I just hate Ernie Bollocks strings. For me they start breaking after about a week. Maybe the bass strings are better though. Also does anyone else think that the list of guitarists on the back of the packet don't actually use Ernie Balls. Like it doesn't say they use Ernie Balls, it just lists a whole pile of names. Tav Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 Rotosounds are fine they are on my bass just now and I play between Dropped C and Standard with the two bands and they serve me well. Might get Ernie Ball Hybrids next, they were really nice last time. Thick gauges than usual at the bottom end so tuning down is easier.
