HateEvent
It's an Explorer gone wrong - how many times do I have to tell you?!Someone at the Gibson factory was drawing an (awesome) Explorer then sneezed and BANG:- The Firebird was made.Honestly - Some of them will play well. You'd have to play the one you buy as Gibson lately have been very hit and miss (from experience). Looks-wise: No!James

Merchant City are doing it for 729 which seems like a pretty good price. Need to go try one out.
Guest DustyDeviada
I've bought a few guitars from Merchant City and they are good guys.Seems like a good price for the Firebird, especially with the hard case.Personally I would prefer that to, say, a Les Paul Studio which is around the same price. It's something a bit differentand interesting.

craig deadenstereo
You can get one for less. Check the adverts by the shops in Guitarist magazine or something. They are F-Ugly though.Buy a tokai. I had one, a Korean model, but it played beautifully and sounded cool too. Was cash strapped, so off it went. They go for about £200 on ebay.Don't pay £500 for any epiphone.
Guest DustyDeviada
You can get one for less. Check the adverts by the shops in Guitarist magazine or something.Hmm' date=' he's right, here's one for £669, but I would be inclined to haggle Merchant City down a bit, as they are just down the road so you don't have any hassle if something goes wrong with it.[url']http://www.coda-music.com/gibsondesigner.htmlI have haggled with them before and they gave me the absolute best price for my Knopfler strat after I got quotes from loads of people.Tell them Coda have it for £669 and ask them to beat it, I bet they will.
