Metarie
I was wondering if any places are looking into getting The Dresden Dolls for their upcoming tour in May? They're going to Glasgow and Edinburgh and amazing as Amanda was in Moshulu I would love to see the pair together. And hopefully avoid the expense of train/bus tickets and a hotel

Stuart
They are playing in my work, which will be very cool. I'm thinking I'll find some reason to be there during the day and just kinda bump into Amanda and Brian. I'm probably also going to see them in Edinburgh also, so I would no doubt come home for a night and attend an Aberdeen show on top of that. Actually, that would be cool. Book them. Rachie
I hope they come back here, Amanda on her own was fantastic but it'd be so great to see both live!

Stuart
I'll gather up Cherie too' date=' she was up fo it.Would it be too close to Naomi's finals to see if she wanted to come up for it?[/quote']Whats all this Cherie talk, eh?....Anyway, the new album "Yes, Virginia" somehow managed to appear on my laptop, out of thin air... Yeeeaahhhh, thats my story and I'm sticking with it. It's amazing. The first single, "Sing", is unlike anything they've ever done before. If you're a hardcore DD fan then you'll have heard every song on the album in live bootleg form, other than "Sing".
Metarie
Cherie is a friend Naughty naughty, robbing the poor Dolls of $5 or whatever percentage they get. When I'm looking forward to an album this much then I prefer to wait for it to come out, any date on that yet?*edited*April 18th for the album according to Amazon, woot! Stuart
Ah... Cherie is my lovely cousin.Hmmm. I don't really think of it as having 'the album' to be honest. I have the songs from the album, but the physical artwork is what really makes it an album.Amanda recently posted her opinion on downloading it on The Shadow Box, and she's like "well, y'know, if you want to download it, download it. I can't stop it, it's the future. But please buy it when it comes out." Which I fully intend on doing. They get so little money from the album anyway. Big artists only get like 1 off album sales. It's all about the merch, and with my order for the $40 sheet music in, I don't think they'll feel robbed.Anyway, bring on May 4th and 5th!
